Although the first book in DC Ink's Teen Titans series hasn't yet released, the imprint has already announced another entry: Beast Boy.

The news was revealed during DC Ink's panel at BookCon 2019. The second title in the Teen Titans young adult series will see the creative team of writer Kami Garcia (Beautiful Creatures) and artist Gabriel Picolo return to tell the story of Garfield Logan, aka Beast Boy. The first official look at the title will appear in Teen Titans: Raven when it hits shelves next month. Beast Boy will release sometime next year. You can see the graphic novel's cover below:

Created by Arnold Drake and Bob Brown, Beast Boy first appeared in 1965's The Doom Patrol #99. He's also used the moniker Changeling, which was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez. His abilities allow him to morph into different animals. He's been a long-standing member of the Teen Titans and Doom Patrol. Actor Ryan Potter plays him on the DC Universe show Titans.

Upcoming DC Ink series include Gotham High, The Lost Circus: A Dick Grayson Novel, Shadow of the Batgirl and The Oracle Code. Those four titles are set to launch in Spring 2020, with Beast Boy more than likely launching later in 2020. The cover art and creative teams for those books were also revealed at BookCon.
