The Infinity Gauntlet is one of the most legendary and powerful weapons in any comic book universe. With all six Infinity Stones assembled on it, the wearer essentially holds the power of a god. And the few individuals who have had the opportunity to wield it have certainly acted like it.
At the same time, that doesn't mean it's the only powerful object in town. DC Comics has more than a few objects of great power that could rival Infinity Stones, if not outright defeat them. And in some cases, it's more about how the objects are used rather than the power they contain.
10 The Mobius Chair Is More Than Just A Throne
The New Gods are some of the most interesting characters DC has to offer. As the perennial enemies of Darkside and Apocalypse, they perceive the universe on a much different level than other heroes do. That is certainly true of Metron.
A scientist, time traveler, and explorer, Metron is the greatest mind New Genesis has to offer. He travels through time and space using the Mobius Chair. It allows him to breach dimensional barriers and has levels of powers that have yet to be explored.
9 The Spear Of Destiny Could Be Used To Defeat The Infinity Stones
Some artifacts that hang around the DC Universe have roots outside of the comics. This is true of the Spear of Destiny. In the Bible, this was the spear that pierced the side of Jesus Christ as he was crucified. In DC Comics, it took on a whole new meaning.
The Spear of Destiny is a weapon of incredible power that is capable of killing gods. Even if someone is wielding the Infinity Gauntlet, there is a very real chance that someone with the Spear would be able to kill them, especially when used by the likes of Superman.
8 The Helmet Of Fate Is Incredibly Powerful
Many people in DC Comics have taken the name Doctor Fate and all of the power that comes with it. Much of that power comes directly from the Hemet of Fate, a powerful mystical artifact created by Nabu. This Lord of Order also created the Cloak of Destiny and the Amulet of Anubis.
But the crown jewel of the whole ensemble is the Helmet. It imbues the wearer with incredible mystical powers and knowledge as well as access to Nabu himself, which is a bit of a double-edged sword. Nabu brings eons of magical experience to the table, as well as the universe-balancing power of a Lord of Order. The Helmet is capable of incredible feats that may be too much for the Infinity Stones to handle.
7 Lantern Rings Are Impressive, To Say The Least
It all started with Alan Scott, the first person in DC Comics to carry the name Green Lantern. Little did fans know he was the beginning of decades of stories that would lead to an entire Green Lantern Corps as well as a full spectrum of rings.
A Green Lantern's ring is one of the most potent weapons in the galaxy, but that alone may not be enough to defeat someone with the Infinity Gauntlet. If the right person is wielding the entire spectrum of rings, however, they definitely have a chance against the Infinity Gauntlet.
6 The Worlogog Is Unfathomably Powerful
Once again, an artifact related to the New Gods pops up when talking about powerful objects. In this case, the Worlogog has been around DC for a long time, making its debut in 1985. Havoc seems to follow every time it pops up.
To be completely frank, the extent of what the Worlogog is capable of has never been fully discussed. Still, it has been used to breach the laws of reality in a variety of ways. Even the Infinity Stones might not be enough to deal with it.
5 The Ibistick Is A Forgotten Powerhouse
Some of the powerful objects in DC have fallen by the wayside over the years. These forgotten objects pop up on occasion, cause a bunch of problems, and then fade back into the shadows once again. And it's time for the Ibistick to make its presence known.
The Ibistick gives the individual using it access to a virtually limitless reservoir of mystical energies. It then allows that user to create any mystical effect they can dream of. That sounds like a great way to take down the Infinity Stones.
4 The Miracle Machine Can Turn Any Thought Into Reality
At its absolute core, the Infinity Gauntlet gives its wearer a level of power that allows him or her to do almost anything. But the keyword in that sentence is "almost," as it still has its limits and is subject to certain rules.
On the other hand, the Miracle Machine doesn't seem to have any limits at all. It literally translates thoughts into reality. As such, anyone using the Thought Machine has the ability to think the Infinity Gauntlet right out of existence.
3 Element X Could Be Used To Defeat The Infinity Gauntlet
When it comes to artifacts of power in DC Comics, it's about more than just the objects themselves. It comes down to the elements that some of those objects are made of. And Element X comes into play somewhat frequently.
Also known as the Tenth Metal, Element X is quite literally the concept of creation in its purest form. This substance can be manipulated through pure thought to accomplish anything. And small amounts of it are found in everything and everyone, possibly even the Infinity Stones.
2 Mother And Father Boxes Are Capable Of Almost Anything
When it comes to technology, Mother and Father Boxes might be the absolute pinnacle in DC Comics. Their origins are shrouded in mystery, though Element X is suspected to be a key part of their composition.
The Mother Box is a tool of New Genesis while the Father Box is a tool of Apokalips. They are seemingly sentient, omnipotent, and capable of almost anything. Despite how long they've been around, it's actually amazing how little is known about them.
1 The Thought Robot Is Beyond Powerful
There are some things in DC Comics that defy reason with a level of power that is hard to even put into words. That is definitely the case with the Thought Robot. And it's easily the greatest deus ex machina ever created.
The power levels of the Thought Robot are off the chart to the point that nothing can touch it. On top of that, it's aware that it's in a comic book, which is mindblowing. Not even someone with the Infinity Stones has that kind of cosmic awareness.
