WARNING: The following article contains minor spoilers for Infinite Frontier #0, on sale now.

Just as fans are waking up to read Infinite Frontier #0, DC has announced the 64-page one-shot is just the opening salvo for its big summer event series, beginning with Infinite Frontier #1 on June 22.

Infinite Frontier #0 writer Joshua Williamson and artist Xermanico (Justice League Dark) will collaborate on the six-issue Infinite Frontier miniseries this summer, with covers by Mitch Gerads (Strange Adventures).

The event will explore DC's rapidly expanding Multiverse, with teases including the Justice Society of America's Green Lantern, Alan Scott, searching for some of his missing allies; the newly-resurrected Roy Harper, aka Arsenal, who has chosen to remain hidden rather than explain himself; Barry Allen and President Superman on opposite sides of a dimensional divide regarding the DC Universe's place in the Multiverse; the return of Darkseid and the Multiversal superhero team known as the Justice League Incarnate.

Many of these storylines in the six-issue Infinite Frontier are touched upon in Infinite Frontier #0. James Tynion IV and Stephen Byrne told an Alan Scott story; Roy Harper appeared in Williamson, Alex Maleev and Jordie Bellaire's Green Arrow and Black Canary story; Barry Allen and Wally West reconnected in a story by Williamson, Howard Porter and Hi-Fi, and Darkseid made his presence known in the epilogue tale by Williamson, John Romita Jr., Klaus Janson and Brad Anderson.

Infinite Frontier #1 by Joshua Williamson and Xermanico with covers by Mitch Gerads goes on sale June 22 from DC. Infinite Frontier #0 is on sale now.
