Superheroes and Transformers aren't too different. They're strong, smart, brave, and are here to protect Earth. It's true the valiant members of the Autobots can transform themselves into vehicles, which is a benefit. Nevertheless, just because Batman can't become his own Batmobile doesn't mean he isn't equal in stature!

Though they spent their early years at Marvel Comics, many of the Transformers pair up quite well with the heroes of DC Comics. Instead of sidekicks, they are true equals in the battle for truth, justice, and Energon. Here are 10 DC Heroes and who their Transformers partners would be.

10 Superman & Optimus Prime

This one seems like a no-brainer. First, both come from an alien planet and crash-landed on Earth. Second, red and blue are their favorite colors. Third, they both died and were resurrected. Their similarities are basically endless.

They even have arch-enemies who were once their friends. In several origin stories, Lex and Clark paled around in Smallville. Meanwhile, Optimus and Megatron were best buds when training to be part of Cybertron's defense force. Now, both Men of Steel fight a seemingly never-ending battle against their former companions.

9 Batman & Ultra Magnus

The Caped Crusader and Optimus' second-in-command are quite similar in temperament. They're serious, stalwart, and don't take guff from anyone. This is especially true for the younger members of their "families". In Batman's case, it's one of the Robins. For Magnus, it would be someone like Hot Rod. Although, that changed for a bit when the brash Autobot became a Prime.

While they work well as partners, Batman might be irked at how Magnus handles things. In many cases, he takes his lead from Optimus. On the other hand, the Dark Knight takes his lead from the Dark Knight. After battling the Joker or Starscream, Bats might get ticked off at how many times Magnus needs to speak to his boss.

8 Wonder Woman & Blackarachnia

Here is an example of two strong females who steadfastly defend their allies with hearts figuratively and literally made of steel. Yet, they also use the power of love to conquer evil. For the Amazon Princess, this has been channeled through relations with Steve Trevor and Superman. For Blackarachnia, it's the Maximal known as Silverbolt.

There is a difference between these two, though. While Diana has always fought on the side of good, Blackarachnia started out as a Predacon. It took persuasion from Silverbolt and a realization that she was born from a Maximal pod to turn toward the light. Most likely, Diana wouldn't mind Blackarachnia's initial alignment with Megatron and his pals as long as she vowed to dedicate herself to good in the future.

7 The Flash (Barry Allen) & Blurr

Though plenty of Autobots are fast, none are faster than Blurr. Introduced during Transformers: The Movie, this Autobot is a fast talker, fast thinker, and fast driver. No wonder he was voiced by 80s pitchman and world's fastest talker John Moschitta Jr!

Blur is the perfect partner for the current Flash. We're sure Barry Allen gets tired of all the slow speakers he deals with on a daily basis. Having Blurr as a partner would certainly help get things done quicker. They can bounce ideas off of each other in picoseconds. Soon enough, all the criminals of Central City would be put away. That would leave plenty of time for the pair to tour the Earth and the galaxy.

6 Green Lantern & Hot Rod

Brash, smug, and ready for battle at a moment's notice.Given these descriptions, we can be talking about either Green Lantern Hal Jordan or the Autobot Hot Rod. Take away Hal's ring, and the two heroes could be twins. Minus the fact one is human and the other is a metal robot, of course.

This is the pre-Rodimus Prime we're talking about. Once he possessed the Spark, Hot Rod became as responsible as Optimus. Prior to that, the young Autobot was ready to take on anyone with nothing but a laser gun and sheer determination. Paired with Green Lantern's willpower and honed ring abilities, the pair can be an unstoppable force.

5 Bumblebee & Bumblebee

The reason for this pairing isn't connected to similar powers or looks. In all honesty, it's because they have the same name. Still, it doesn't mean that Karen Beecher-Duncan and the Autobot known as Bumblebee aren't similar.

They are probably the bravest heroes of their own universes due to their diminutive sizes. They'll tackle a Brother Blood or Starscream alone if need be. In addition, while they are loyal to their respective team leads, they won't hesitate to take a few steps forward and kick off a battle so their teammates are saved some trouble.

4 The Flash (Jay Garrick) & Kup

Every universe of heroes needs a well-worn veteran who watches and trains the younger ones. Particularly, those who need to get some of the piss and vinegar squeezed out of them. The DC Comics' version of this person is the Golden Age Flash, Jay Garrick. For the Autobots, it's the grizzled Kup.

In Transformers: The Movie, Kup is the one who keeps Hot Rod calm as they escape the wrath of the Decepticons. In the last version of Justice Society of America, Jay helped train the sons and daughters of former team members. While what they do is never perfect, some of Jay's and Kup's advice is absorbed by the young whippersnappers.

3 Wildcat & Ironhide

These are the scrappers of their respective teams. A former professional boxer, Wildcat has a powerful set of punches. Meanwhile, Ironhide has been the equivalent of a master sergeant to Optimus. He keeps the younger Autobots in check and he doesn't hesitate to get his own hands dirty.

Both of these heroes keep the more powerful beings in check. When Alan Scott wants to find and destroy the Ultra-Humanite, Wildcat provides the human perspective to the more powerful superhero. Same goes for Ironhide. Like a resourceful non-comm, it's his responsibility to detail the pros and cons of a mission to Prime.

2 Brainiac 5 & Wheeljack

Granted, the Autobot's Wheeljack and the Legion of Super-Heroes' Brainiac 5 have been known to blow up their labs from time to time. In fact, Brainy destroyed Legion HQ at one point in history. Luckily, it rebuilt itself. That's why scientists are deemed brilliant.

Both the Legionnaire and the Autobot are definitely geniuses. Do all of their inventions work? Of course not! However, that's the beauty of science, isn't it? When their ideas fail, they're able to learn from the mistakes. If this wasn't the case, the Legion would still be using awkward flight belts to get everywhere. In addition, Wheeljack's inventions, though they didn't seem to work at first, saved the lives of his allies numerous times.

1 The Inferior Five & The Dinobots

It's the thought that counts for both of these teams. They have good intentions, but how they've acted doesn't always match their sincerity. Rarely do they successfully help others along the way without bumbling somehow. A+ for effort, though!

Still, both the Dinobots and Inferior Five are loveable. If there's any difference between the two, it's the amount of courage. There are a few members of the I.F. who are afraid of their own shadows. On the other hand, the Dinobots aren't afraid of anything. In the end, if the I.F. were in trouble, the Dinobots would probably be the ones who saved them.
