When people talk about the unstoppable force and the immovable object, they might as well just say the Juggernaut and the immovable object. The Juggernaut has been around for a long time and in that time, he's been beating on the X-Men, Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, and countless others. Cain Marko, stepbrother of Professor Charles Xavier, found the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak and gained fantastic strength and durability, as well as the ability to be unstoppable as long as he was in the motion.

Over the years, Juggernaut has been both hero and villain, but one thing remains the same- he kicks all the butt. He has even knocked the Hulk. and that's no easy task. This list is going to look at how the unstoppable one would fare against the greatest heroes of the DC Universe - Which would ones would he beat? Which ones would beat him?

10 Would Lose To: Doctor Fate

Empowered by the Lord of Order Nabu and a master of the magical arts, Doctor Fate is one of the most formidable magic users in any universe. Many people have worn the Helmet of Nabu over the years, with the most famous still being the first, Kent Nelson.

Juggernaut is empowered by the god Cyttorak, so there's little chance that Doctor Fate would be able to block or take away his powers- as powerful as Nabu is, gods trump Lords of Order. However, Fate has access to a wide variety of magic spells that would allow him to take advantage of Juggernaut. Fate's not gonna try and punch it out with him, so he'll have plenty of time to figure out the perfect spell to use against him.

9 Would Defeat: Batman

Batman is the Caped Crusader, the Dark Knight, one of the linchpins of the Justice League. He's a grade-A tactician, one of the best martial artists, and one of the greatest detectives around. Given enough time and resources, he can beat just about anyone.

Except the Juggernaut. Even with a million years of prep time and all the technology in the world, Batman could not figure out a way to beat the Juggernaut on his own. It's just impossible. Batman would end up a bloody smear on Juggernaut's boot.

8 Would Lose To: Zatanna

Zatanna Galileo

Another powerful magic user, Zatanna is known for unique spellcasting ability - pretty much everything that she says backward happens. Raised by one of the greatest magicians of them all, Zatara, there's little about magic Zatanna doesn't know.

While she also wouldn't be able to use her magic to stop the Juggernaut, she could definitely protect herself from his attacks if she had to, but it probably wouldn't even get to that. He'd run at her and she'd throw a few spells at him to slow him down and when they didn't do much, she'd just say, "Peels," and that would be that.

7 Would Defeat: The Flash

The Fastest Man Alive, Barry Allen, is the Flash. Using the power of the Speed Force, the Flash can perform all kinds of feats that make him one of the most powerful superheroes around - when one has the power of physics on their side, they are hard to beat. However, against the Juggernaut, none of that would matter.

Flash wouldn't really be able to hurt the Juggernaut with any of his attacks and at first, Juggernaut wouldn't be able to hit the Flash. However, at some point, the two men would end up running at each other and, well, nothing stops the Juggernaut.

6 Would Lose To: The Spectre

The Spectre is one of the most powerful being around, and there's a good reason for this - he's the Angel of God's Vengeance. Bonded to slain policeman Jim Corrigan, the Spectre was the most powerful member of the JSA. There's not much the Spectre can't do. For example, during the Crisis, he was able to protect multiple Earths from the Anti-Monitor and hold him at bay later in the conflict.

The Spectre wouldn't try to stop the Juggernaut. He wouldn't have to. There's pretty much nothing Juggernaut could do to hurt the Spectre and so many things that Spectre could do to him. The Spectre could easily block the power of Cyttorak from the Juggernaut and then punish Cain for all of the terrible things he's done over the years.

5 Would Defeat: Green Lantern

Green Lantern Hal Jordan Season 2

Hal Jordan is the greatest Green Lantern of them all. Able to overcome great fear, the test pilot was chosen as the successor of Abin Sur and given jurisdiction over Sector 2814 by the Guardians of the Universe. Using his prodigious willpower and his Green Lantern ring, Hal Jordan has helped save the universe countless times.

Green Lantern rings are powerful, but against Juggernaut, there's nothing they can do. He can't be held back by them and even the most powerful ring construct would barely phase him. Hal is one of the best ever, but even he wouldn't be able to figure out a way to take down the Juggernaut before his ring ran out of charge. Juggernaut would get him while he was recharging.

4 Would Lose To: Etrigan

Etrigan the Demon from DC Comics

Bonded to human sorcerer Jason Blood, Etrigan is a Rhymer in Hell's order of demons. Phenomenally powerful, Etrigan has more often than not worked with the heroes of the DC Universe, because of Blood's influence over him. Juggernaut has faced many daunting foes in the past, but the demon Etrigan is beyond even his power.

Etrigan is strong enough to go to head to head with Superman, which means he could easily punch it out with the Juggernaut. Add to that his hellfire, healing factor, energy blasts, and mental abilities, and he would be able to overwhelm the Juggernaut. Juggernaut would lose his helmet at some point in the battle and when Etrigan realized that his physical attacks weren't cutting it, he'd switch to mental ones. Without his helmet, and in spite of his recent upgrade that protects him most mental attacks, Juggernaut wouldn't be able to resist the demon's mental power and would fall.

3 Would Defeat: Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman is as tough as they come. While not the strongest person around, Wonder Woman has a wide variety of skills and abilities that add up to make her one of the most formidable combatants in the DC Universe. Unfortunately, in a battle against the Juggernaut, none of that would matter.

Diana just isn't strong enough to hurt Juggernaut in the long run. She's put up a good fight and her god forged weapons might even hurt Juggernaut a bit, but in the end, she just couldn't stand up to his vast strength.

2 Would Lose To: Martian Manhunter

Martian Manhunter

Martian Manhunter is one of the most formidable superheroes around. Although his weakness to fire is a detriment, he makes up for it with a truly flabbergasting array of superpowers. One of the most stalwart members of the Justice League, Martian Manhunter fights for his adopted homeworld like it was his own.

Martian Manhunter has a variety of defensive powers that would allow him to keep Juggernaut from hurting him, like his invisibility and intangibility. This would be another fight where Juggernaut would lose his helmet and then Manhunter would use his telepathy on him. Manhunter is powerful enough to link every mind on Earth, so he should be able to use his mental might to put down the Juggernaut.

1 Would Defeat: Superman

The Last Son Of Krypton, Superman, is the epitome of the superheroic ideal. Armed with a wide array of superpowers, Superman has always found himself in the forefront of the battle of good versus evil. Few have been able to stand against the Man Of Steel... but the Juggernaut would do more than stand against him.

Besides Kryptonite, Superman is vulnerable to magic, and it's the magic of the god Cyttorak that empowers Juggernaut. Every blow would hurt Superman, and eventually, Juggernaut would knock him out.
