DC will finally unveil the killer behind the massacre at the superhero crisis center known as Sanctuary in April.

While the primary suspects have been Harley Quinn and Booster Gold, the solicitation text for Heroes in Crisis #8 reveals the killer's identity to be that of another superhero, thereby eliminating Harley Quinn from the suspect list. It's worth pointing out that doesn't confirm Booster Gold to be the hero behind the crime since the facility was filled with many characters seeking help for their traumas.

"What could have driven a hero to the brink, to turn a savior into a murderer?" the solicitation ponders. It also goes on to say how the revelation will cause Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman's leadership to be challenged, seeing as how they were Sanctuary's founders.

For Heroes in Crisis to really deliver a shocking surprise when it unmasks the killer, it can't be the obvious choice of Booster Gold. The majority of murder-mysteries never go with the prime suspect. However, DC could be leading readers to believe its Booster Gold after eliminating Harley Quinn. The cover doesn't offer any additional clues unless Wally West killed everyone inside, along with himself, in a fit of irrational rage.

That would be a pretty depressing route to take Wally's character, though writer Tom King is using the miniseries to explore real-world problems through the lens of a superhero comic. King may want to use Wally as an example of how good people are turned crazy by circumstances beyond their control.
