Since his debut in the early '80s, Deathstroke has become one of DC's most iconic villains. He's been a mercenary, a villain, and an anti-hero. He is one of the DC Universe's most formidable fighters, with superhuman strength, speed, and an enhanced brain more dangerous than any of his physical attributes. Deathstroke is one of the most iconic Teen Titans villains of all time and has gone up against Batman a lot in recent years.

10 Deathstroke Put Up A Good Fight Against Superman But Still Lost

Superman And The Authority 1 Cover.

Saying that Superman can beat Deathstroke isn't exactly a stretch, but many people forget that they've actually fought. The main reason is likely because it was in the middle of the New 52, a time that DC lost a lot of readers. In this story, Deathstroke introduced his Ikon suit and actually put up a really good fight against the Man of Steel.

The most surprising part of the fight against Superman was that Deathstroke was able to actually keep up with Superman. He lost in the long run, but it was still a pretty impressive fight overall.

9 Wonder Woman And Deathstroke Have Tangled With Predictable Results

Wonder Woman Evolution

Wonder Woman is another hero where it's not surprising that she's beat Deathstroke, but it's surprising that they fought in the first place. Deathstroke and Wonder Woman move in completely different worlds, so seeing them battle is pretty novel. Deathstroke is a more grounded villain, while Wonder Woman is known for battling gods and monsters, making their fight a match-up nobody expected.

Deathstroke and Wonder Woman have actually tangled several times over the years, and Wonder Woman won every fight. The results make complete sense, but again, it's just impressive that Deathstroke could do so well against her.

Hawkman and Deathstroke are a really good match. Both are amazingly tough fighters and have a lot of experience in battle. While Hawkman has way more experience, Deathstroke's enhanced brainpower evens things up. As far physical capabilities, they're about even, so any fight between them is always a good one.

Most fans think of Identity Crisis when they think of Deathstroke and Hawkman fighting, but a lesser-known fight happened in the New 52. Hawkman's time in the New 52 wasn't exactly beloved, so this fight flew beneath the radar. It's a pretty entertaining fight that, sadly, most people have forgotten about it.

7 Tim Drake Beat Deathstroke With The Teen Titans And On His Own

Tim Drake as Robin in his first ongoing series

Tim Drake is arguably the best Robin, and being Robin is about more than just being Batman's sidekick. Drake ended up with the Teen Titans, following in Dick Grayson's footsteps. When the team faced Deathstroke, Tim was integral in defeating him. This started a rivalry between the two that kept up for years. Nowadays, many of Tim Drake's accomplishments are forgotten, including his defeats of Deathstroke.

Tim Drake isn't as great a fighter as some other Robins, but his intelligence makes him formidable. Tim Drake is about an even match for Deathstroke, and their battles are always fun.

6 Black Canary Beats Everyone

Black Canary has battled some of the toughest fighters in the DC Universe. It's pretty much what she's known for, and while she has her canary cry to fall back on, it's her least used weapon. Deathstroke is her superior in many ways, but Black Canary has made a career of beating foes who are stronger than her, whether it be on her own or with DC's greatest teams.

Black Canary is an excellent fighter and has proven that she has what it takes to beat Deathstroke. The fact that Black Canary has defeated Deathstroke says everything about her; she can stand up to a guy who beats entire teams of heroes and win.

5 Cassandra Cain Has Worked For Deathstroke, But She's Also Fought Him

Cassandra Cain Orphan Batgirl

Cassandra Cain is one of the Bat-Family's toughest heroes, and like many other members of that illustrious group of vigilantes, she's fought and defeated Deathstroke. The results make perfect sense, as Cassandra is one of the most skilled martial artists on the planet, even taking down experts like Lady Shiva and Batman.

Cassandra also has a more interesting relationship with Deathstroke than most members of the Bat-Family, as she's actually worked with him to take down the Teen Titans as a member of the villainous Titans East. Luckily for Deathstroke, she didn't just beat him down again and take over completely.

4 Damian Wayne Strives To Prove He's The Best, So Of Course He's Beat Deathstroke

Damian Wayne As Robin Against An Orange Background

Damian Wayne has also had an exciting relationship with Deathstroke. There was a time when Deathstroke tried to prove that Damian was his son, bringing him into conflict with Batman. Damian and Deathstroke would make a pretty great team, but Damian always has to prove he's better than everyone, so they've come to blows.

Damian's skills and penchant for the ultra-violence have allowed him to beat nearly every villain he's come up against. Deathstroke is tough and smart but Damian has made a habit of showing villains like Wilson not to underestimate him.

3 Nightwing Has Battled Deathstroke Many Times And Won Every Battle

Dick Grayson is one of DC's greatest heroes, and he's faced Deathstroke more than just about anyone. Most people know that he's beaten the villain with the Teen Titans, but they often forget how many times he's taken down Deathstroke entirely on his own. In fact, he even faked working for Deathstroke, acting as his sidekick in order to get close to him and find out who he was working for.

2 Green Arrow And Deathstroke Have Had Several Grudge Matches

Green Arrow Readies His Bow

Green Arrow and Batman have a lot of things in common, and one of them is villains they fight. Green Arrow and Deathstroke had a moment in Identity Crisis, and writers capitalized on it later by having the two face each other. In their fight, Green Arrow took a page from the Batman playbook, completely controlling where it happened and using prep time to his advantage.

Since then, the two have fought many times, with Green Arrow winning many of those fights. Green Arrow doesn't get enough credit for how skilled a fighter he is, but beating Deathstroke proves it unequivocally.

1 Red Hood Has Put Down Deathstroke

An image of Red Hood with Task Force Z

Red Hood and Deathstroke don't have the history that some of the Bat-Family have together, but they have a grudge all their own. In his Robin days, Deathstroke would have wiped the floor with Jason. However, he is much more skilled since becoming Red Hood, making him a better match for Deathstroke.

The two have tangled several times, with Deathstroke losing several of their battles. Red Hood is a much more dangerous fighter than people give him credit for, and Deathstroke found that out the hard way.
