While the Justice League always has its core staple characters, the rest of the crew tends to be on rotation. Whether the characters have been on the League before or have never had the honor, there are some heroes who deserve to be made full time members of the Justice League.

This is one of the biggest responsibilities that can be bestowed on a hero of the DC universe, and not every hero is able to shoulder such hefty obligations. One day these heroes could be the ones that stop Darkseid or other villains from taking over the Earth.

10 Booster Gold, The Greatest Hero You've Never Heard Of

While often written off as a goof and loser in the DC universe, Booster Gold is a great hero who can be an invaluable asset to a team. In the '90s, Booster Gold was briefly on the Justice League and he was even on the team when Doomsday came to Earth and Superman fought him to the death.

With his control of the time-stream and all his other neat gadgets, Booster can help fend off any bad guy and keep the League out of trouble.

9 Vixen, Master Of The Animal Kingdom

Undoubtedly one of the coolest and most underrated DC heroes, it is about time that Vixen gets the recognition she deserves. She is powerful and comes from a low line of heroes, wearing a totem that was passed down through generations since her first ancestors.

She can channel all spirits of the animal kingdom, meaning she can be as tough as a rhino, or as fast a cheetah. There is an infinite amount of ways she can help out.

8 Captain Atom, The Walking Nuclear Arsenal

Starting out as a Charlton Comics character with a skin made of Dilustel and a connection to a quantum field, Captain Atom can help control an unending amount of energy. He can stop a nuclear disaster or clear a battle field with an energy blast.

He is a force for war and peace. If given a spot with the League, there would be another powerhouse that might even rival Superman in strength.

7 Swamp Thing, Avatar Of The Green

When fighting the forces of evil it never hurts to have an elemental force on your side. Swamp Thing is just that— he is all powerful when it comes to nature and can travel across the planet in the blink of an eye.

If that wasn't enough he is also super strong and has ancient knowledge of the Earth. Although he is often part of Justice League Dark, it is time that he be bumped up to the main team.

6 Shazam, Chosen Champion Of Magic

If Superman ever needed to be replaced on the Justice League, Billy Batson, aka Shazam, should be the one to do it.

On top of being able to call down lighting and have super strength, he also has the Wisdom of Solomon, allowing him to be a decent tactician when he wants to. He can also help the League stay positive and upbeat, as he has the wide-eyed optimism that only a child can have and would help offset the sullenness that Batman and other brooding heroes bring to the team.

5 Huntress, Top Notch Spy & Warrior

Starting out her path as a hero by hunting down and taking revenge on the people who killed her family, the Huntress brings a great set of skills to the Justice League.

She is a master spy, even teaching at a spy school. She is also a top notch fighter, mastering multiple disciplines including the use of her signature crossbow. She is even Batman-approved would do a great job on any covert missions for the League.

4 Zatanna, Expert In The Mystic Arts

It never hurts to have a magician on the team, especially with all the demons and other mystical villains that the Justice League has to face.

While she is a staple on the Justice League Dark, Zatanna needs to be brought into the fold of the main League. She can accomplish things for the League that no one else on their regular roster can, and has great intel on all sorts of other worldly threats.

3 Etrigan, The Medieval Demon

A criminally underused character, Etrigan the Demon deserve all the rewards and honor that comes with the Justice League.

Being an ancient fire-breathing demon pretty much says it all. He is an unstoppable force from Hell, despite serving for the forces of good. The Justice League needs a bruiser, and Etrigan can be just that.

2 Black Lightning, Master Of Electricity & Natural Leader

Black Lightning is a born leader. Setting aside his incredible powers and abilities, Black Lightning provides leadership and a fresh perspective that the League desperately needs in order to grow and evolve.

The young heroes look up to him and respect him, and the old guard, especially Batman, see all the potential he has. Black Lightning is a powerhouse hero who can be so much more if given a bigger spotlight.

1 Orion, The New God

Orion is one of the New Gods that were created by Jack Kirby. He is the son of Darkseid who was traded to and raised by the Highfather of New Genesis. Orion has a rage problem but is a born warrior who does not shy away from danger.

He understands the political landscape of the galaxy and is more than capable of holding his own against all opponents. It wouldn't hurt the League to have such an influential galactic figure on the squad.
