Everyone knowns Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn, if for nothing else other than being tied to Batman. What a lot of people don't know is they once formed a team called the Gotham City Sirens. They weren't good guys or bad guys, just three girls trying to protect each other and make in the mean streets of Gotham.RELATED: Untangled: 15 Strange Tidbits About Poison Ivy's BodySeries mixed comedy and seriousness very well, much as the recent show did, though Selina is more of the level head rather than Pamela. What was refreshing about it wasn't just that they were a group of females, it's that they all got equal screen time. None of them fell into the role of supporting character, that being occupied by the often hilarious Riddler.

10 In The Vines

Making sure the photo was taken against an ivy-covered wall was such a smart decision, playing right into Ivy's abilities. If the leaves of AlexandriaTheRed's skirt were a little darker, they would have blended right into it. Her top already sort of does, and what a top it is, looking like she is wearing a head of lettuce.

Her two compatriots are equally as good, whip being laid across the back of Tenleid's neck is a great decision, as were the metal claws attached to her fingers. The final piece to the trio is Ashlynne Dae's Harley Quinn, who shines like no other. That might be the glossiest looking Harley cosplay we've ever seen.

9 All Tied Up

As a group shot, this is utterly adorable and completely in character for the series. It was always Catwoman trying to corral the two villains, making them see that they were better than they realized. Peachberri doing that in a quite literal sense here, tying them up so tight, there's no way either could cause any mischief.

Both Tara and Mostflogged (amazing tag) play the roles of Harley and Ivy well. Harley looks like she's still holding out hope for escape, and Ivy has grown resigned to it, though none too happy about that fact. Love the addition of the little leaves in Ivy's hair as well, little things like that always help out.

8 The Legend

Anyone who's ever been around cosplay before has heard of  Yaya Han. She's a legend of the game, someone you'd enshrine at the Hall of Fame if such a thing existed in cosplay. Here we see her dawn the leather of Catwoman, using an outfit that looks most akin to the Arkham games.

While Yaya is the legend of the trio, the other two might upstage her on this one occasion. Ryoko-demon, a fixture on many a cosplay list, is Poison Ivy, sporting perfect red hair. The best of the three may be Rei-Doll  as Harley. There is something about her eyes that screams bat shit crazy, no easy feat for even an actor to pull off.

7 The Animated Series

All three gals are sporting outfits from the animated series, the same place that gave birth to Harley Quinn. As such, none of them are eye-popping, but they don't need to be when they are as accurate as they are. Maggesi as Poison Ivy is understated, only having a vine curled around her arms rather than being a plant herself, as she is in other iterations.

Catwoman is equally as understated, being completely covered up almost regally standing there as Ivy clings to her leg. Yukilefay helps paint her as the leader, something she very much tries to be throughout the book. Last but not least is ItsReah as Harley, embodying the lovable loon perfectly. Having the WB logo in the background is a beautiful touch as well.

6 The Sirens

When someone mentions embodying a character, they are talking about how Rotten Candy is acting above. She isn't just posing like a normal person would, no, she's acting like a lunatic, holding a pop gun to her head. It isn't just the gun either, it's the attitude she exudes, look on her face telling you everything you need to know.

Faerie Blossom makes a second appearance on this later, so we will hold our thoughts on her for then, leaving more time to talk about Pie.  We love her being in an Arkham jumpsuit, giving the character a different look from the usual green. It fits even better when you consider Ivy is the more pure-blooded villain of the trio. The way she's motioning you forward with her finger is so in character to, Ivy also being the clear seductress out of all of them.

5 Staredown

The duality of the photo here is stellar. Originally Jhess Cosplay (Catwoman) and Vall Cosplay (Poison Ivy) were going for the pair being closer, one of their other photos even having the two locking lips. You can still see that here, both of them staring longingly into each other's eyes, waiting for the other to make the first move.

Where the duality kicks in is you can interpret it as the pair having a heated discussion as well, a scenario more likely given the characters. Ivy looks like she's daring Selina to challenge her authority on something. Beyond just the scene itself, the branches wrapped around Vall's legs are an extra mile few and willing to go.

4 Best Buds

We mentioned Faerie Blossom showing up again on this list, and here she is with Sajalyn's Harley. The two make an adorable pair in the series of photos they took together, both exhibiting their respective characters perfectly. That's on no more display than here, Catwoman being the more grounded character, one that acts like an older sister to Harley a lot of the time. Harley meanwhile is the whimsical chaos, never having a plan, and just doing whatever she thinks will get a laugh in the moment. That ecstatic smile from Harley compared to Selina's look is perfect. She's a little uncomfortable, but she knows there is no convincing Harley to stop.

3 Mind Blown

You can't see much of Ivy's cosplay due to the camera angle, but even if you could, it'd likely get overshadowed by the personality shown from Harley. That look on her face had to be the expression the character had when she found out she was not only getting her own movie, but an animated series to call her own as well. There's no way anyone saw this character gaining as much fan support, and love that she has now, it's truly mind-blowing. Not to mention, this is probably the most well done Harley cosplay on the list, given the headpiece.

2 The Classics

Faerie Blossom isn't the only one to show up here twice, both Ryoko-Demon and Rei-Doll show up again as well. Here they are sporting different costumes, Ryoko being the Harley in this case and Rei the Catwoman. Both of them look completely flawless, not just with their cosplay, but facially. Ryoko, in particular, looks like she has the smoothest skin in the world.

As for the cosplay, there isn't much to say beyond them being spitting images of the classic cartoon. Harley looks like she could start spouting off about Mistah Jay and Catwoman already seems to have eyes on some sort of prize in the distance. Knowing her, it's only a matter of time before she gets it.

1 Come Closer

Not only did they manage to get on here twice, but they also did it a third time, this time with Harley (Rei-Doll) and Ivy (Ryoko-Demon). While variety is always the spice of life, it's hard to argue what the two put out. They are two of the premier Russian cosplayers for a reason. It helps that they are doing a very popular ship as well, one that is gaining even more steam thanks to the new Harley Quinn animated series. The two are perfect for each other, Ivy being everything Harley needs after the years and years of abuse that Joker heaped on her.
