Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's comic event Doomsday Clock will be released as two-part collection, with Part One hitting shelves in October of this year.

Doomsday Clock debuted in 2017, though the first tease for it appeared in 2016's DC Rebirth #1. The series served as a followup to one of the most popular graphic novels of all time: Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. In the Doomsday Clock series, Watchmen characters like Rorschach, The Comedian and Dr. Manhattan face off with DC heroes for the fate of the multiverse.

Combined, Part One and Part Two of the collection feature all 12 issues of the event. All variant covers by artist Gary Frank will be included. In addition to a new cover by Frank, the collections will also include a behind-the-scenes look at how Johns and Frank created the series.

At 224 pages, Part One will retail for $24.99 and feature all six issues in full, including the supplemental material at the end of each issue. This collection will release in October. Set to release in May 2020, Part Two will contain issues #7-#12 and retail for $24.99.
