The DC Comics have showcased a wide range of superheroes and supervillains stronger than some Gods but one being who ascended to the point where he stopped caring about humanity is Jonathan Osterman aka Doctor Manhattan. His strength and superpowers are beyond anything a mortal can even begin to contemplate.
After finding himself in a failed nuclear experiment, Jon Osterman saw his body vaporize into thin air before he gave himself a shape using the new extraordinary powers he gained. Osterman was taken out of the physical realm and thus, he became a god-like being capable of doing almost anything.
10 Telekinesis
Doctor Manhattan has a certain class about him. He doesn't like to touch the opponents he comes up against, instead, he likes to test them by using his out of the world telekinetic abilities. Without any physical contact, he can move any object but the problem is that he isn't the only celestial being with this superpower. It is quite common and thus, it doesn't give Jonathan Osterman any edge. Telekinesis is still a very good superpower to use, though.
9 Teleportation
Teleportation is something that can prove to be quite useful and Doctor Manhattan has mastered it to the core. He doesn't need to sense anything to teleport, instead, he can do it with just a single thought. He teleported from Earth to Mars within seconds and his superpower isn't limited to himself. He can teleport with anyone he wants to. Still, this isn't a superpower he holds exclusively in the DC Universe and it isn't his coolest either.
8 Alteration Of Size
Doctor Manhattan was vaporized after the nuclear experiment went wrong and he pretty much remade himself. So it's not a surprise that he can manipulate the size of his body and there are numerous occasions in the comics where this superpower has been used.
During the Vietnam War, Doctor Manhattan made the battle stop because his size scared everyone away. Moreover, this superpower grants him enough creativity to do anything against any size of opponents.
7 Molecular Manipulation
There are a lot of different things Doctor Manhattan can do under the headline of molecular manipulation. The most basic and complex molecules or objects have been broken down easily by Doctor Manhattan. In fact, this superpower of his is so advanced that he can disintegrate a human body. Doctor Manhattan, quite popularly, used disintegration when Walter Kovacs or Rorschach had a huge disagreement with him.
6 Phasing
After losing his physical form, Jonathan Osterman realized that his body can do some unbelievable stuff like phasing through matter at will. Bullets, bombs, knives, or any human-killing object, for that matter, can go right through Doctor Manhattan and it wouldn't even draw a reaction from him. Similarly, this ability of his also extends to mortals. He can walk right through anyone or anything. It is very difficult to pinpoint anything that can potentially hurt Doctor Manhattan.
5 Controlling Elements
Elements form the basis of how the world is perceived and having a superpower capable of controlling them is a very big deal. While it is unknown how many elements Doctor Manhattan can manipulate, there have been examples where he has created the most important ones. He brought water out of thin air and was able to create an aura of oxygen around Laurie when he took her to Mars. There may be more elements he can easily manipulate.
4 Making Copies Of Himself
Doctor Manhattan has incredible control over what he can do and one of his superpowers grants him the ability to create replicas of himself. Again, it's not really a surprise because he doesn't exist in the physical realm and he can use his energy at any given time and any given place.
The ability to make copies of himself gives Doctor Manhattan something not many superheroes have. He can know about everything going around the city just by putting his replicas to good use.
3 Manipulation Of Time
Doctor Manhattan views time like no one else. It is all linear to him, meaning he sees past, present, and future all at once. Jonathan can see every event that has happened or is going to happen but he keeps himself away from interfering with the natural process. Still, he has never stopped himself from using this particular superpower whenever it has been required. Time travel is one of the biggest superpowers any superhero can dream about having.
2 Energy Constructs
When Jonathan Osterman lost his mortal form, he became a bundle of energy with god-like superpowers. Now, he can manipulate that energy to any means he can think of, ranging from using photon blasts to constructing something out of nothing. It's still unclear whether he can manipulate or use quantum energy too because if he can, there aren't many superheroes or supervillains who can trump him.
1 Immortal
As mentioned above, Jonathan Osterman is a bundle of energy, and energy cannot ever be destroyed. Even if someone can hurt Doctor Manhattan's physical form, it doesn't mean he'll be gone forever because he can quite easily just reconstruct himself. There is a reason why he is compared to some Gods in the DC Universe and Doctor Manhattan is one of the only humans to earn the tag of immortality. He is almost impossible to kill but one can't rule that possibility out in the comic book world.
