DC Delays Justice League Odyssey Debut by Nearly Two Months

DC Comics has confirmed that the first two issue of Justice League Odyssey have been delayed. Justice League Odyssey #1 has been postponed by nearly two months, from July 11 to Aug. 29. Justice League Odyssey #2 has been postponed by a similar amount of time, from Aug. 8 to Sept. 26. It seems inevitable that Justice League Odyssey #3, now slated for a Sept. 12 release, will also be delayed.

The exact nature of the issue that caused the delay has yet to be revealed, but artist Stjepan Sejic posted an explanation to Twitter implying that there was a miscommunication that caused a significant amount of work -- two entire issues -- to be lost:

“There was a bit of a miscommunication between production lines and 2 already completed issues had to be scrapped," Sejic said. "These things happen when you're dealing with such large company machinery. Back to the old drawing board XD.”
