Diana in Dark Crisis: Worlds Without A Justice League: Wonder Woman #1 explores a world where women hold high seats of power and is full of beautiful moments featuring sisterhood between all tribes of amazons. Debuting a new set of golden armor reminiscent of Wonder Woman's golden armor in DC's else world story Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross, Diana is the warrior for truth and justice. She travels across this new timeline serving those who need her help, similar to what Diana does as Wonder Woman in most media. In the Martian Manhunter backup story, readers see Detective J'onzz on a case that hits him close to home and makes him question life as he knows it. Each of these character spotlights shows that even in alternate timelines, these heroes do what they have always done, fight for truth and justice.

Both Diana and J'onn's stories in Dark Crisis: Worlds Without A Justice League: Wonder Woman #1 feature stunning artwork by Del Duca and Peterson. With Del Duca juggling the many expressions of each amazon masterfully and creating the lush triad of islands where the amazons call home. Her art pops off the page. In J'onn's story, Peterson creates out-of-this-world creatures that are still reminiscent of their true form. Bellaire gives each story a unique color palette that amplifies each piece's tone. Whether it's the glistening golden armor of the warrior of truth and justice or the grayscale noir ambiance of a Martian detective, both stories bring great art to the table.
