DC to Release Teen Titans Special #1 From Adam Glass

Writer Adam Glass is returning to DC Comics for Teen Titans Special #1 for a story teased to involve Robin, Kid Flash and Red Arrow.

The former Suicide Squad writer made the announcement on social media Monday evening with artwork from artist Robson Rocha of the young heroes defacing statues of their mentors Batman, Flash and Green Arrow.

Glass tweeted the following: "I luv @marvwolvman @perezartist #TeenTitans as a kid so when @DCComics asked me to do TT Special #1 I said HELL YES!"

There are no additional details listed for the project, but it is worth noting that the official DC Comics Twitter account retweeted Glass' post. As it stands right now, there are no issues of Teen Titans or Titans listed in DC's May solicitations.

The cause for their absence may be linked to the Justice League: No Justice weekly miniseries that will position the Justice League titles for a relaunch under Scott Snyder, Joshua Williamson and James Tynion IV. Members of the Teen Titans and Titans will be involved in No Justice, working together with the Justice League and a group of antiheroes featuring Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Sinestro and Lobo.
