DC launched its 2022 Round Robin tournament in late March. The tournament allows comic book fans to vote for potential titles. The title that ultimately wins will debut as a digital-first series on DC Universe Infinite in September before arriving in print and on ComiXology in October.

That said, DC Global Publishing Initiative Senior Editor Katie Kubert has stated that even the pitches that don't win have a chance of being published in the future. "There're some things that I can't say quite yet because they have not been announced, but there's other things where it's like, 'Okay, so these pitches didn't advance, but, we value them, we think they're amazing,'" Kubert told Comics, FYI earlier this month. "So now we have to figure out where they go."
