This week is shaping up to be one of the biggest for DC Comics since the Burbank-based publisher implemented its new release model (which sees new comics arriving in shops on Tuesdays, rather than Wednesdays). DC is doubling its output this week as compared to last, releasing no fewer than 12 titles this Tuesday, May 26.
When it comes to DC's solo superheroes, this week sees new issues for Aquaman, Batman Beyond and The Flash. As far as teams go, Justice League, Suicide Squad and Teen Titans all also have new entries out this Tuesday. Speaking of superhero teams, there's also The Terrifics #27 -- the final physical issue of the book before it becomes a digital exclusive.
Stepping away from the main DC continuity, this week also sees the release of the sixth and final issue of He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse. Moreover, the Hill House Comics imprint has its own final issue out on Tuesday with the release of Basketful of Heads #7, in addition to the fifth and penultimate issue of The Low, Low Woods. Meanwhile, the Sandman Universe imprint has its own new issue in Books of Magic #19. Finally, the music-oriented MAD Magazine #13 hits shelves this Tuesday as well.
