DC Entertainment announced DC UNIVERSE INFINITE Ultra, the newest tier to its digital subscription service that will provide fans with comics just one month after they go up for sale at comic shops.

DC UNIVERSE INFINITE Ultra allows fans to read comics a month after they become available at comic shops, allowing them to enjoy comics on their favorite devices sooner. Ultra subscribers will receive a copy of The Death of Superman 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition with an exclusive cover by renowned artist Ivan Reiss, while supplies last. The exclusive cover will not be available anywhere else. In addition, Ultra subscribers will have access to an exclusive library of titles from DC Vertigo, Black Label and Collected Editions beginning mid-November. The introductory price for Ultra is $99, and it will launch on Oct. 10.

DC's library has over 27,000 comics and will expand to over 32,000 in November. Select MAD Magazine issues will also become available across all membership tiers. With the launch of its new tier, Ultra subscribers can receive one free physical comic book (based on availability) when they subscribe, renew or upgrade their membership. As mentioned earlier, the first comic offered is a softcover copy of The Death of Superman 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, featuring artwork by Ivan Reiss. The comic offered to tier subscribers will vary and is not available during the free trial period. DC indicates subscribers can expect their comics to arrive 10-12 weeks after providing a mailing address.
