The DC Universe is filled to the brim with villains that have tested the abilities of many heroes. From the far reaches of space with the Green Lanterns to the streets of Gotham with the Batfamily, many villains have brought cause for team-ups of all levels.

Rarely do the Justice League and the Teen Titans actually team-up, but when they do, fans can be sure a grand story is unfolding. Justice League: No Justice was an interesting team-up, but what else could the two teams take on together. Here are ten threats that would bring the rosters together.

10 Krona

Beginning as a villain of Green Lantern and eventually becoming an opponent of the multiverse, including the Justice League and Marvel’s Avengers, Krona is one of the biggest bad guys to appear in comics. While his brethren became the Guardians of the Universe, Krona became the bane of the universe.

To defeat Krona at his most powerful, it would take the Justice League and Teen Titans teaming up to take him down. Krona is an immortal with a wide variety of powers, though he has many faults including his arrogance. He has technically destroyed Earth before, but a good team-up would likely stop that from happening again.

9 Mister Mxyzptlk

One of the greatest tricksters put to paper, Mister Mxyzptlk has a storied history as a villain and antihero since he first appeared in 1944. Though he is mostly seen antagonizing the Super-family, he has tried to play his pranks on many members of the DC universe. While he is playing these tricks, he typically doesn’t go too far into villainy, unless for a joke comic like Superman and Batman: World’s Funnest.

What has yet to be seen is Mister Mxyzptlk cracking and going fully evil. When that happens, it would take the levity of the Teen Titans and the full power of the Justice League to beat him at his own games.

8 Parallax

Parallax attacking Superman

A being made of pure fear, Parallax has made his name as the ultimate enemy of the Green Lanterns. Introduced during the Emerald Twilight storyline of 1994’s Green Lantern series, having taken hold of an emotionally distraught Hal Jordan, Parallax has shown that his powers are immense.

With the ability to control whoever he sees fit, as long as that person hasn’t conquered their inner fear, Parallax would cause the most issues by turning the Justice League and Teen Titans against each other. Since he hasn’t actually been stopped, only imprisoned several dozen times, a team-up between the teams would be more than enough to finish him.

7 Doctor Manhattan

While he's technically not a villain, Doctor Manhattan has been introduced as a part of the DC canon, which allows him to be placed on this list. Generally well-intentioned, Doctor Manhattan has shown himself to be unreliable in his stability. This is further confirmed when it is revealed that Doctor Manhattan had been altering timelines to test his theories about Superman.

While Superman is at the forefront of Doctor Manhattan’s thoughts, the rest of the Justice League and the Teen Titans have a fair shot at taking him down. Captain Atom manages to do just that in Doomsday Clock, though it doesn’t last.

6 Nekron

DC Comics Villain Nekron

You don’t have to look much further than the embodiment of Death to find the perfect team-up opportunity for the talents of the Justice League and the Teen Titans. As the manifestation of Death, Nekron has had his hands in many of DC’s biggest storylines, including Blackest Night. His necromancy and immortality make for a dangerous foe that can use the past against any hero.

During the events of Blackest Night, Nekron does face off against members from both teams, including Flash and Kid Flash as well as Superman and Superboy, but both full teams have not come together to take down this major threat.

5 Trigon

Trigon-Teen-Titans

Most commonly a Teen Titans foe, Trigon is one of the biggest demonic threats to the heroes of DC. Born thousands of years in the past, Trigon has used his powers to lay claim to hundreds of worlds and even entire dimensions as he saw fit. Not only is he a powerful combatant, but he can also take over the minds of most people, including the heroes he is supposed to be fighting against.

With his mind control powers and his various armies of demons and worshipers, it usually takes a dozen or so Titans to take him out, though they always need the help of Raven. Without her, a team-up with the Justice League is crucial.

4 Imperiex

Imperiex Prime as seen in DC Comics.

While Galactus was roaming around the Marvel universe eating planets, Imperiex has spent his time obliterating galaxies for fun. As the embodiment of entropy, the first appearance of Imperiex was a difficult fight for Mongul and Superman, though this was revealed to be an Imperiex drone. Imperiex Prime came to Earth during Our Worlds At War and proved to be a challenge greater than any one team.

It took all the heroes coming together to stop Imperiex, most notably including former Teen Titan Tempest, who was a key figure in stopping Imperiex the first time.

3 Neron

Neron striding forward with a cocky grin in DC Comics

Much like Trigon, Neron takes a similarly demonic place in the roster of various DC heroes, though his route to damnation is closer to traditional means. A fallen angel turned demonic deal maker, Neron relies on the temptations of the heart’s utmost desire to claim the souls of his victims.

As a sometimes ruler of Hell and a villain with the ability to raise the dead and capture souls, Neron provides an interesting challenge to the Justice League and Teen Titans, especially since both teams are filled with members who have lost loved ones.

2 The Legion of Doom

The Legion of Doom from DC Comics

While it may be cheating to include them as the Legion of Doom is a group of supervillains rather than a single one, but the version of the Legion of Doom that would be required for this instance is a unified force that acts as one. One of the major downfalls that allow the Justice League victory over them is their individual personalities causing clashes.

A unified Legion of Doom would be formidable and require the full rosters of both teams to take them down. While this likely won’t happen, it would be an incredible story arc that would change how the DC universe works.

1 Batman

"Batman isn’t a villain!" is what most readers would be typing in the comments right now. While this may be understandable, Batman has proven a hundred times over that he would be a nearly unstoppable threat to the Justice League. JLA: Tower of Babel and the recent The Batman Who Laughs are prime examples of just how easily the Dark Knight can play the villain.

The only way to take down a villainous Batman would be to throw everything possible at him, hoping that something sticks. The whole of the Justice League and Teen Titans rosters would likely be able to take down Batman, but nothing short of that, since he’d be prepared for most, if not all of them.
