However, over the long history of the teams' tenure in DC Comics, there have been many different incarnations of the teams' roster. With many changes from different continuities to different members, it's hard to tell which can be the most powerful. But here is something that can at least be an estimation. Here are the 10 most powerful Justice League rosters of the last five years, ranked.

10 Justice League United

The Justice League United was a New 52 Justice League team that originally appeared in 2014 but was cancelled in 2015. Comprising A list characters such as Martian Manhunter and the Green Arrow, their brief tenure didn't show much of what this team had to offer.

That being said, the potential they hold is extremely impressive, promising and worth noting as characters such as Supergirl ended up joining the roster along with having extremely powerful trump cards such as Swamp Thing.

9 Justice League Odyssey

This line-up is one of the more recent Justice League teams in the last 10 years, and it's also one of the few rosters to have the newer characters taking the spotlight. Comprising of incredibly powerful characters such as Jessica Cruz and Orion, they are a major threat even if they are not as famous as the Big 7.

For example, Jessica Cruz is a capable green lantern with the power of emitting omega beams from her very hands while Orion is the great son of Darkseid. The one destined to destroy him.

8 DC Universe Justice League Dark

The newest iteration of the Justice League Dark is also one of the most powerful. Being formed around the same time as the Justice League Odyssey, the roster mainly comprises 5 characters such as Wonder Woman, Zatanna, Swamp Thing, Man-Bat and Detective Chimp.

This team is particularly known for having some of the most powerful magic at its disposal. When a team has a heavy-hitting amazonian goddess, the greatest magician in the world and a living plant god on your roster, enemies would definitely shake before their might.

7 Justice League 3000

Justice League 3000 didn't have the spotlight for long, since the team was originally composed of clone versions of the original League. What's notable is that all of this team's members had built-in defects to make them weaker than the originals and some have died as a result, such as Superman 3000. However, over time, the team got remade and became an all-female roster.

For example, having the original Supergirl as the leader and maintaining the core aspects of the team such as the new Flash's speed force and new tools that some teams don't have such as a giant bat mecha and two characters that can control fire and ice respectively.

6 DCAMU Justice League

Basically the New 52 line up of the team, viewers are treated to the original Big 7 along with new inclusions such as Shazam. Essentially having all of the abilities of their respective comic book counterparts, there isn't much to add in terms of their power other than the fact that they might be slightly weaker.

However, due to the multiple films under the banner of the DC Animated Movie Universe (DCAMU), they are definitely one of the most experienced Justice League teams in the last five years. Having fought against great foes such as Darkseid and the dreaded Doomsday.

5 DC Rebirth Justice League Of America

The newest roster in the Justice League of America was first created after the original Justice League fought against the Suicide Squad back in its run. This was done as a way of bringing in heroes and villains, old and new, and giving them a fresh start.

The roster is incredibly diverse with extremely unpredictable heavy hitters such as Lobo, as well as some old faces such as the Atom and Black Canary. All of this, along with being led by the tactical mind of Batman, and readers have a team that is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

4 DCEU Justice League

Notably being one of the most recent Justice League rosters, this cinematic team consisted of Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aqua Man and Cyborg. Although these five are powerful in their own right,  thanks to Batman and Wonder Woman appearing in other films, they were only able to hold off Steppenwolf's forces for some time.

That is until the arrival of a revived Superman, who is powerful enough to contest everyone in the team and make Steppenwolf his plaything. As such, his power really helped in making this Justice League one of the most powerful.

3 New 52 Justice League

The original team that debuted back in 2011, the New 52 Justice League team originally comprised of the original seven and then eventually introduced new members such as Firestorm and the Atom.

The team has done it all, from stopping Darkseid to forcing the Kryptonian God Rao into a corner. Although this team has since gone out of continuity, some of its ideas and elements still remained within the DNA of the new DC timeline. Most prominently, Teen Titans' regular Cyborg joining the team.

2 New 52 Justice League Dark

The original roster of the Justice League Dark that ended publication back in 2015 also has one of the largest rosters of the team. Having heavy hitters such as John Constantine, Zatanna and Swamp Thing, it is one of the most magically driven out of all the Justice League.

Not only that, but the team also comprises more unusual and unconventional characters not often seen in a Justice League team, such as Deadman (who has the ability to manipulate living bodies) and Andrew Bennett, who is a literal vampire.

1 DC Rebirth Justice League

The most recent interpretation of the Justice League, the roster is built up from previous rosters before it. With the necessary experience, they are often the first line of defense against a variety of threats. Whether that's in the city, planet or even multiversal leveled, this Justice League is there to save the day.

This team is so powerful that it fought multiversal beings such as the World Forger and had characters like Superman (a merger between his New 52 and post-Crisis incarnations) shatter an entire multiverse. In fact, this Justice League, specifically Batman, ended the threat of the Dark Multiverse. This is only scratching the surface for how far the team is willing to go!
