Green Arrow is one of DC's most beloved characters but right now, he has no solo book. While he appears in both Justice League and Checkmate, he doesn't have a book of his own and that needs to be remedied as soon as possible. Green Arrow is one of the coolest members of the League and his solo adventures are always a good time.

Green Arrow has had some awesome fights over the years and beyond that, he's just a great character to spend a lot of time with. There are few DC heroes out there like him and giving him back a solo book would be great for everyone.

With a solo movie starring Dwayne Johnson about to drop, now is the time to get the world on the Black Adam train. Adam has become an amazing character in the 21st century, going from villain to anti-hero to a more villainous anti-hero to a true hero, joining the Justice League at Superman's urging. He's a powerful and interesting character, one who could do wonders in his own book.

Black Adam had a starring role in 52 and his own mini-series but that's the extent of his solo stardom. Putting him in the Justice League was a big step, one that could be completed by putting him in his own book.

8 Detective Chimp Is Too Cool To Not Have A Book

Detective Chimp is another character who has become a big deal in the 21st century. His silly Silver Age roots have been forgotten and he's taken his place among the magic-using heroes of the Justice League Dark, using his prodigious intelligence and detective skills to help the team face down the darkest threats. On top of that, he's a smoking, hard-drinking talking chimp. What's not to love?

Detective Chimp is a lovable character and it feels like he's been right on the cusp of superstardom so many times. Putting him in his own solo book could be the push he needs to bring back that old Silver Age adage - apes sell books.

7 Zatanna Is Always The Bridesmaid, Never The Bride

Zatanna is another character who has had a big star turn with the Justice League Dark but she's also been a member of the main team as well. She's a perennial Leaguer and one of the greatest magical heroes in the DC Universe. While she's starred in some mini-series, she's rarely had a solo book of her own and that should be remedied.

Zatanna's such a great character - she's powerful, has a great personality, and works well in just about any kind of story. Giving her a solo book is a no-brainer and should be done as soon as possible.

6 Dr. Fate Hasn't Had A Solo Book Since The '90s

Dr. Fate has been a part of the DC Universe since WWII, serving with the Justice Society. Since then, the Helmet of Fate has passed through several bearers and is now held by Khalid Nassour. Gifted with the mighty power of the Helmet, Khalid is learning the magical ropes and how to deal with Nabu, the Lord of Order who resides in the Helmet.

Khalid has been appearing in Justice League Dark for a few years but there are so many fan-favorite characters in that group, he's never really gotten much chance to shine. Putting him in a solo book to show his journey would be ideal.

5 Black Canary Needs A Solo Book

Black Canary has been around for a long time, starring in team books and acting as Green Arrow's partner. However, beyond her short-lived DCYou series, she's gotten very little love as a solo character over the years. That needs to change. Black Canary has long been one of the best heroes in the DC Universe and she needs a solo book.

Few characters out there have done as much as she has and yet never really gets much chance to shine. Putting her in a solo book will finally give her the big spotlight she's always deserved.

4 Animal Man Needs Another Solo Book

Animal Man hasn't been a member of the Justice League in a while and he hasn't had a solo book since the New 52. However, Animal Man is one of the best characters to ever be a member of the League and his solo books have always been top-notch. His Grant Morrison written series is one of the best DC books ever and his Jeff Lemire written New 52 book was another bright spot for him.

Animal Man is a wonderful character with a great supporting cast. His power as avatar of the Red makes him one of the most powerful people on Earth and giving him another solo book is long overdue.

3 Cyborg Graduated To The Big Team Now He Needs Another Solo Book

The New 52 upped Cyborg's profile in a major way, putting him on the Justice League as a founder of the team, upping his power, and changing his origin. He stayed on the team well into the Rebirth era but hasn't been around in a while. He's had one solo book but he needs another one to get back into the swing of things.

Cyborg is such an amazing character and he's taken some time out of the limelight recently. Giving him a solo book could remind everyone why they love him so much and elevate him to new heights.

2 John Stewart Is The Best Green Lantern

Hal Jordan is great. Kyle Rayner did better than anyone expected. Guy Gardner and Jessica Cruz are fun. Simon Baz is the man. However, as great as the Earth Lanterns are, none of them can hold a candle to John Stewart. He's one of the greatest heroes in the DC Universe and he should have his own book.

John has been great in every book he's in and he's one of the few Green Lanterns to not have a solo book. This needs to change. John Stewart has long been deserving of a solo turn and the sooner the better.

1 Martian Manhunter Needs A Chance As A Solo Star

Martian Manhunter has been on just about every team in the DC Universe but he's rarely had a solo book. This is very weird because fans love J'onn; there's a reason he's been around for so long on so many different teams. There's something about the character that resonates with fans and giving him a solo book would make a lot of people happy.

Martian Manhunter can do so much that his role in a comic is pretty much unlimited. His shapeshifting, combined with his plethora of powers, means he can be used in all kinds of stories. There is so much to the character that he basically demands a solo book.
