After Batman defeated the Penguin, Harold roamed the streets of Gotham before being saved by Batman from some goons. Harold was then taken to the Batcave, where he was allowed to stay. Harold was highly intelligent, helping Batman with advanced technology. The last we saw of Harold was in Hush, where the titular villain tricks him into using a device that would affect his mind.
