Amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, DC is donating $250,000 to comic book retailer relief aid.

DC said the donation will be going to the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (Binc) to provide support for comic book retailers and their employees.

The news comes after DC CCO and Publisher Jim Lee announced he will be auctioning 60 sketches featuring a number of DC characters and donating the earnings to Binc in support of the community. Lee will be auctioning one sketch a day for the next two months, with no version of a character repeated, and each auction will be live on eBay for three days. Currently, a sketch of Azrael, Doctor Fate and The Batman Who Laughs are available for bidding. with prices starting at $5,400, $4,950, and $5,600, respectively.

As coronavirus continues to affect people across the globe, corporations are stepping up to provide help. Sony recently announced it's donating $100 million in support of first responders and medical professionals, educators and creatives in the entertainment industry.
