One of the most powerful objects in the Marvel universe is the weapon of the Son of Odin. This weapon is, of course, Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor. A constant conversation surrounding this weapon is what exactly makes someone qualify as worthy and who exactly would be worthy of lifting the legendary hammer.

Well, this conversation isn't stuck simply with heroes of the Marvel universe, as the same can be applied to the characters of the brother comic company and universe, DC. This list will be looking at characters that would probably never qualify as wielders of this tool of the God of Thunder.

10 PLASTIC MAN

Plastic Man stretching his face out of shape in DC Comics

Plastic Man is a hero that has done some of the best deeds that can be done. While he started off as a low-class thug, he actually made a complete 180 turn around with the help of some higher-level heroes of the DC universe.

However, despite this, Plastic Man isn't even fully trusted by some of his allies. He's just too unpredictable, which probably isn't something Odin wants when granting someone the ability to use Mjolnir, despite his son being unpredictable as well.

9 DOCTOR MANHATTAN

Doctor Manhattan

Doctor Manhattan from the Watchmen series of comics is one of the most powerful characters in comics. This man is able to look past the usual human views and can almost be categorized as a god.

Doctor Manhattan's chances of being considered worthy are hurt by his selfish nature brought on by his "godhood." This is something that would convince Odin to never even give Doctor Manhattan a chance to lift Mjolnir.

8 CATWOMAN

Catwoman is a lot like Plastic Man. She has had some great moments alongside Batman, moments when she decided to actually do some selfless acts on the side of good, but these instances are not the norm.

Catwoman is one of the most unpredictable DC characters ever and many times she acts to fulfill her own needs instead of those of the needy. Due to this, she should kiss any chance of holding Mjolnir goodbye.

7 BIZARRO

Bizarro is one of the most obvious characters that would be denied access to Mjolnir. Not only is he absolutely insane but he can't be trusted at all.

The easiest answer to the question of Bizarro being able to lift Mjolnir can be seen by looking at Superman. Since the boy in blue can lift the hammer, the answer for Bizarro is a huge no.

6 RED HOOD

Red Hood from DC.

Red Hood is a character born out of past trauma and negative thoughts. He has good intentions but is one of the darkest anti-heroes around, thus the Red Hood name.

Mjolnir definitely wouldn't agree with Red Hood's alignment and violent nature. In fact, the power afforded by the hammer is likely to go to Red Hood's head, perhaps causing the anti-hero to just become a villain.

5 LOBO

Lobo holding a cigar in DC Comics.

Lobo is one character that absolutely no one would want to be able to wield Mjolnir. There is no telling what kind of damage this crazy villain turned anti-hero would do to the universe.

Not to mention Lobo is just about indestructible, so if given the power of the gods, things would get really ugly really fast. Lobo might be the Main Man, but he will never be the man to hold Mjolnir.

4 MISTER MIRACLE

Although Mister Miracle is a great hero, Tom King showed that he isn't even close to being a man in a good enough condition to be given any more power than he already has.

Miracle already struggles with the current responsibilities pressed upon him so any more wouldn't be a good thing for him.

3 HARLEY QUINN

Another one of the most unpredictable heroes in the DC universe, Harley Quinn has come a long way from her old days of being straight-up evil and standing at the side of the Clown Prince of Crime. She is now a great anti-hero and although she acts on her own accords, she still isn't the most trustworthy girl out there.

Even trying to imagine Quinn receiving the blessings of Odin to hold Mjolnir is nearly impossible. Well, that's a sign that it would never happen and should never happen unless Harley takes a step even further into the light of heroics.

2 DARKSEID

The being that is literally the god of all negative energy of the world given the authority to use the power of Odin? That is never going to happen. Darkseid is one character that is a no-brainer in this conversation. There isn't a soul on this planet that could see this being given a single chance to use Mjolnir.

There isn't an ounce of anything that Odin is looking for in a wielder of this hammer in any bone of Darkseid's body, and there never will be. Darkseid's resume in his history of DC comics answers this question easily.

1 REVERSE FLASH

Reverse-Flash smiles threateningly in DC Comics

Just like Darkseid, there is no way that Reverse-Flash, aka Eobard Thawne, would ever be allowed to even touch Mjolnir.

This man is one of the most selfish and evil in the DC universe and he was born a normal human. The hatred is much too strong in this one, and nothing about Thawne suggests the villain could ever be worthy.
