When it comes to diversity, comics are a bit of a mixed bag. However, one area that they're certainly improving in is the topic of LGBT representation. Characters are slowly being written or rewritten to represent the world a bit more accurately. In honor last week's Bi Visibility Day (September 23), today we'll be going over ten different DC characters that you might not know are bisexual. Without any further ado, let's get right into it.

10 Gotham's Barbara Kean

The Gotham iteration of Barbara Kean was a complete maniac, but a very smart and calculated one at that. Many thought that she would end up becoming the series' Harley Quinn. Instead, she ended up becoming one of the rulers of the Gotham Underground. She does so with the help of Tabitha Galavan. While Tabitha is overall in love with Butch, her and Barbara do have a very close relationship, which is romantically involved at a few points during the show. The two did everything together — and we won't go any further because, spoilers.

9 Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman is a canonically queer character. An actual bisexual icon, we absolutely stan. While this fact about the character hasn't been explored in any films or TV shows, the comics themselves have confirmed it. While there was always an idea that Diana was bisexual, it was only revealed recently. The first time that this was solidified was in Wonder Woman: Year One, a retelling of her origin story. Along with this, the current writers of Diana Prince confirmed as much.

8 All Of The Amazons

The Amazons live in pure paradise on Themyscira. Only women live on the island. As such, their view of sexuality and gender would be quite different from the rest of the world, as men just aren't really there at all. Lesbianism isn't necessarily a concept on Themyscira, only love. As such, Diana and the other Amazoness women aren't beholden to the rules of gender that are followed outside of Themyscira. They simply enjoy their lives with other women of the island, labels not included.

7 Harley Quinn

While we haven't really moved past the Joker in the DCEU (yet), that doesn't mean that Harley Quinn isn't super bi. The character has a relationship with Poison Ivy sometimes. As usual, this is dependent on the canon that you're looking at, but Harley and Poison Ivy have been romantically involved before. The two crime queens are a fantastic duo to watch, so seeing them in a relationship is even better. Let's be real, she can do a lot better than the Joker anyway.

6 Constantine

The first male on the list, we have Constantine. This character is an incredibly gifted magic user who has a large amount of knowledge of the occult as well. Oh, and he's bisexual. We love the idea of a powerful, bisexual sorcerer, so it's nice that DC went ahead and confirmed it for us. This hero has dated both men and women in the past, and this trait is something that has been carried over through the New 52 and the Arrowverse depictions of Constantine, which is great to see.

5 Jericho

Jericho using his powers

The son of Deathstroke, Jericho was rendered mute early in his life during in a kidnapping attempt in which his vocal cords were cut. The character is an incredibly powerful one, who is able to possess others with ease. This character is also bisexual in modern stories. Jericho will be brought to life in live-action on Titans. And get this, he's being played by Chella Man, a transgender, disabled actor. Alright, Titans! The representation jumped out and we are here for it 100%!

4 Mera

The DC Bombshells continuity is one that focuses exclusively on the women of DC Comics — and wow, do we need more of that. In this continuity, the Queen of Atlantis herself is bisexual. While she does end up with a man, she is still clearly bisexual — she even shares a kiss with Wonder Woman — which is great. You don't have to be in a same-sex relationship to be bi. It is and always will be part of her identity, which is really how any sexuality should be portrayed — as just part of the character.

3 Nick Necro

Another not-so-superhero on the list, we have the supervillain Nick Necro. Hes is another character in the DC Universe that is bisexual. He's had a relationship with the Sorceress Zatanna, but also has been sexually involved with Constantine, who we mentioned earlier in the article. While the two didn't have an actual romantic relationship at any point, the two mages engaged in...some activity with one another. We have to keep it PG, but just fill in the blanks on your own, okay? Either way, Nick Necro certainly isn't straight.

2 Catwoman

Wow, everyone in Gotham is some degree of queer, aren't they? Well, the same goes for Catwoman. While she is always engaged in her on-again, off-again relationship with Batman, that certainly doesn't mean that she is completely straight. On the contrary. She is also attracted to women, which was revealed in 2015. What was also revealed at this time is that besides Selina Kyle, another woman who has taken up the Catwoman mantle, Eiko, is also queer. The two also do have feelings for each other as well, which makes that entire story even better than it already was.

1 Poison Ivy

The final entry on the list, we have Poison Ivy. As previously mentioned, she has been in a romantic relationship with Harley before. Let's get this going on the big screen too. Cast Rihanna to play Poison Ivy, and have her and Harley Quinn have a relationship in Gotham City Sirens. Ivy herself is a very sexual character, so it only makes sense that she enjoys both the male and female form, and why shouldn't she? Use Batman to do some bidding for you, and stay committed to Harley. Now that's powerful.
