When the DC Comics ongoing series Batman/Superman returns for issue #16 in March of 2021 following the Future State event, it will welcome a new creative team: writer Gene Luen Yang and artist Ivan Reis.

As announced at CCXP in Brazil, Yang (The Terrifics, Shang-Chi) -- who is already attached to pen the two-part Future State: Batman/Superman limited series -- has been tapped to take over as the main Batman/Superman series' writer after the fact. He will be joined on the title by Reis (Superman, Blackest Night).
