Batman may be the headliner for the DC Universe, but that doesn't mean that everyone's favorite Girl Crimefighter can't get in on the fun. Batgirl has been around for almost 50 years and was one of the very first members of the Bat-Family. Like the caped crusader, she uses her keen intellect and self-defense fighting skills to protect Gotham and her new home of Burnside. Even when she was crippled for nearly two decades, she still kept steady and helped Batman out as Oracle. Unlike her cynical mentor, Bab's is always willing to work with anyone, as long as their intents are noble.

10 Work With: Spider-Man

Peter Parker is a lot of things. He's a jokester; he can't keep a date to save his life, he's a crime-fighting Super Hero that sticks to walls, and much more. But, above all else, Spider-Man is a man of science.

He's aced every one of his classes and uses his intelligence to create different devices to help with his work as the Web-Swinger and save the world. You can see a lot of inspiration from Peter that made it into Barbara Gordon (Yes, Batgirl was first, but Barbara didn't appear until 1967). With such similar traits, these two would work well together. Spidey might even get a date out of it.

9 Wouldn't Work With: Iron Man

Tony Stark is a lot of things, but he doesn't respect the younger generation. Sure, he was one of Peter's mentors, but he was always over-protecting him and not taking him seriously as a Super Hero. Even in the comics, he rather not get involved with the affairs of teenage/college age heroes. Sure, Bab's has already worked with another genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, but at least he mostly treated her as his equal. Tony would probably stroke his ego in telling how all of his suits can do whatever Batgirl has created.

8 Work With: Captain America

We ask this all the time, but we'll keep asking for the hell of it; Who in the world wouldn't get along with Captain America? If you think that Barbara wouldn't get along with him, you don't know Steve Rogers. Just like the Dark Knight, Cap had his young sidekick helping him out to take out the Nazi's in WW2 in Bucky Barnes.

Unlike Bucky, Barbara is a gadget master who helps Batman and Robin out in a pinch. Cap would be amazed at how a girl her age can kick butt and create tech to take down the bad guys. If anything, Cap would even invite her to fight alongside him

7 Wouldn't Work With: Doctor Strange

While Babs gets along with plenty of Heroes that use Magic (Raven, Zatanna), they've always been pretty friendly people who want to help others out. Doctor Strange... isn't the nicest guy. Oh, he's still one of the most powerful Avengers, and the team will count on him when the chips are down, but he has a reputation of being the most arrogant person in the Marvel Universe. Strange is a super uptight sorcerer who comes off like he knows everything, even before getting his hands crushed and learning magic. Sure, we know that he's excellent, but he doesn't have to be so full of himself.

6 Work With: Ms. Marvel

Ms. Marvel is just Adorkable. She's a total fangirl of everything Super Hero and will get any chance she can to gush about her favorite heroes. Kamala may not be the smartest teen hero of them all, but she's easy to get along with and has been a member of the Avengers and is even the leader of the Champions.

Sure, Batgirl doesn't have any flashy powers, but she can still impress Kamala with her devices and good-natured personality. We can even see Babs tutoring Kamala if she ever had a test to study for.

5 Wouldn't Work With: Wolverine

Wolverine doesn't get along with most people, especially his younger teammates. Sure, he'll endure their constant "witty banter" during a mission and he's even shown to have a soft spot for kids like Rouge and Shadowcat, but he'd rather work by himself. He would see Barbara as a nuisance, instead of a partner to fight crime with.

4 Work With: Ironheart

While Tony Stark doesn't see himself mangling with a bunch of kids, he does try to help them out once in a while. Take a look at Riri Willaims. After Tony meets with the young girl, he decides to help her to become the hero Ironheart. Since then, she's become one of the premier young heroes in the Marvel Universe and gets along with everyone. She and Barbara are girls of science and would easily be BFFs. If anything, we wouldn't be surprised if Riri built Bab's a suit of armor.

3 Wouldn't Work With: Black Widow

Black Widow is the most popular heroine in the Marvel Universe, but she's always keeping people at arm's length. It makes sense since she's a super-spy that specializes in infiltration and government espionage.

This means that gaining her trust would be next to impossible unless you're just as paranoid as she can be. So, while we could see her and Batman working together, Batgirl isn't as well known for going that far, even if she's helped Batman infiltrate Arkham a few times.

2 Work With: Mr. Fantastic

Reed Richards from the Fantastic Four

Mr. Fantastic is one of the nicest guys in the Marvel Universe. He's a man of sciences that wants to make the world a better place, he's always curious about what's beyond our galaxy, he's a father of two and gets to work with his wife, his best friend, and his brother-in-law on a daily basis. He's always coming up with several different theories of cosmic travel and creating devices with the intent of exploring rather than attacking. While Babara would have a hard time keeping up with Mr. Fantastic on an intellectual level, he wouldn't mind teaching her a few things about his specialty.

1 Wouldn't Work With: Thor

Thor isn't one of the smartest avengers. Since he comes from Asgard, he sees science as just another form of magic. He probably doesn't even know how to start a TV or use a computer, as we can. If anything, Thor would slow down Batgirl.
