DC is planning to celebrate Aquaman's 80th anniversary in style.

The publisher will release the Aquaman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular, which features a cover by current Aquaman art team Ivan Reis and Joe Prado. Contributing to the special are writers including Geoff Johns, Stephanie Phillips, Brandon Thomas and Marguerite Bennett. Artists contributing to the issue include Steve Epting, Paul Pelletier, Hendry Prasetya and Evan "Doc" Shaner. These stories will place the focus on the King of Atlantis along with his various allies and enemies.

The Aquaman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular will also feature eight "decade" themed variants, tracking Aquaman throughout the years. The list of "decade" variants can be found below:

DC plans to release two other 100-page "Super Spectacular" specials for two more of its heroes in celebration of their 80th anniversaries. Wonder Woman will receive a 100-page special in celebration of her 80th anniversary and the Green Arrow 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular will celebrate eight decades of the Emerald Archer.

The Aquaman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular will go on sale on Aug. 31 from DC.
