A new DC Comics trailer promoting the yearlong "Dawn of DC" publishing initiative will play on HBO Max and TNT.

DC revealed a new "Dawn of DC" trailer at MegaCon 2023 featuring artwork by Jeff Spokes and starring some of the publisher's biggest heroes, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Arrow and many more. The publisher announced the trailer will appear on HBO Max and during episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage on TNT in May 2023. "Dawn of DC" is a yearlong publishing initiative that launched in Jan. 2023 previously described as a

"line-wide, multi-event narrative" composed of over 20 individual comic book titles.

DC Unveils New "Dawn of DC" Art, Covers at MegaCon 2023

Along with the "Dawn of DC" trailer, DC also released new artwork from the upcoming 800th milestone issue of The Flash. Releasing on June 6, 2023, The Flash #800 features contributions from Mark Waid, Geoff Johns, Joshua Williamson, Jeremy Adams and more. The preview, which features artwork by Scott Kolins, features Hunter Zolomon/Zoom, while Williamson also announced his portion of The Flash #800 will be about Barry Allen and Iris West's relation. DC previously revealed The Flash #800 will also usher in an upcoming reboot launching in Sept. 2023 from writer and Mike Deodato, Jr.

A new look at Action Comics #1053 shows Jon Kent/Superman fighting Metallo and seemingly kidnapping Clark and Lois' two new Super-Twins. Releasing Mar. 28, 2023, from Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Dan Jurgens, Leah Williams, Rafa Sandoval, Lee Weeks and Marguerite Sauvage, the synopsis for Action Comics #1053 reads, "'No livin’ thing’s supposed to have power like this. No matter how blue your eyes are or how pretty your face is, you’re just as much a monster as me.' War rages on between Metropolis’s two men of steel, Superman and Metallo! As Metallo’s new body continues to evolve in unexpected and nightmarish ways, the voice of his 'operating system' has been changing too, testing the limits of his sanity. Finally, when his alien tech takes on a life of its own and infects the most violent members of the Blue Earth movement, the resultant abominations target Superman’s greatest strength and greatest weakness: his family! John Stewart and the Justice Society of America Enter DC's New Age

Additionally, Johnson revealed a new variant cover created by Mirko Colak for Green Lantern: War Journal, the brand-new John Stewart-starring series. While Green Lantern: War Journal launches in Sept. 2023, the first issue of Jeremy Adams and Xermánico new Hal Jordan-starring Green Lantern series, which releases May 9, 2023, will have a John Stewart backup written by Johnson.

Geoff Johns showed off a preview of Justice Society of America #4 and a Yanick Paquette variant for Justice Society of America #6, which will see the "Dawn of DC" merge with the New Golden Age for the first time. Releasing April 18, 2023, from Johns and Mikel Janín, the synopsis for Justice Society of America #4 reads, "Helena's journey through time continues! Each new time period gives her one more piece of the puzzle, but is Degaton too far ahead in his quest to eradicate the JSA to be stopped? Is this truly the end of the Justice Society?"
