The latest promo for the drama's Showtime revival is all about Agent Cooper's hearing-impaired FBI supervisor ... and a doughnut. Yes, the teaser simply depicts Lynch's Cole enjoying a glazed confectionery to the unmistakable sounds of the "Twin Peaks" theme. Doughnuts are a key, recurring element of the series, like cherry pie and damn fine cups of coffee.

Directed by Lynch from scripts he wrote with co-creator Mark Frost, the "Twin Peaks" revival features an announced cast of 217 returning and new actors, including Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, Michael Horse, Sheryl Lee, Ray Wise, Madchen Amick, Miguel Ferrer, David Lynch, David Duchovny, Michael Cera, Richard Chamberlain, Laura Dern, Meg Foster, Ernie Hudson, Caleb Landry Jones, Ashley Judd, Jane Levy, Trent Reznor, Tim Roth, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Vedder and Naomi Watts. Original composer Angelo Badalamenti also returns.
