The official trailer for Netflix's newest supernatural comedy, We Have a Ghost, has been unveiled, featuring Marvel stars David Harbour and Anthony Mackie.

The upcoming film will feature Stranger Things actor Harbour playing a restless ghost named Ernest. He unexpectedly becomes a viral sensation overnight after being discovered by the new residents of the house he's haunting. To investigate the mystery of his death, Ernest enlists the help of Kevin (Jahi Di'Allo Winston), the teenage boy who he first appeared to. Meanwhile, Mackie is set to play Frank, Kevin's father, who seeks to take advantage of Ernest's internet fame.

We Have a Ghost comes from writer and director Christopher Landon, who is known for directing Blumhouse's popular Happy Death Day franchise. The film marks Landon's feature directorial comeback in two years since the theatrical release of the Kathryn Newton-led slasher Freaky. Based on Geoff Manaugh's short story Ernest, We Have a Ghost will also star The White Lotus actor Jennifer Coolidge, who has signed on to play a psychic medium. For her breakout performance as Tanya McQuoid on the HBO satire, Coolidge recently won her first Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

A Busy Year Ahead for David Harbour and Anthony Mackie

In addition to We Have a Ghost, Harbour is continuing his partnership with Netflix for the upcoming fifth season of Stranger Things. He and co-star Winona Ryder recently renegotiated their Netflix contracts to reprise their roles as Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers in the final season for a massive pay increase of $9.5 million each. Harbour is also returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to reprise his Black Widow role as Red Guardian in Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated Thunderbolts movie.

In a previous interview, Harbour confirmed that he's planning to simultaneously shoot the two big projects later this year. "It's going to be crazy. It's going to have to be a back-and-forth with me. They're going to have to sort of share me. And so it is kind of like, I don't know exactly how they're working it, but it's a week on, week off, two weeks on, two weeks off, something like that where I would go back and forth."

After officially taking on the mantle of Captain America in Disney+'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series, Mackie is set to star in his own solo MCU movie, Captain America: New World Order. This is Marvel Studios' fourth installment to the Captain America franchise that was once led by Chris Evans. The project is expected to start filming this spring, with Harrison Ford officially joining the cast as Thunderbolt Ross. Apart from the upcoming superhero project, Mackie has also signed on for the leading role in Peacock's live-action series adaptation of popular video game Twisted Metal.

We Have a Ghost premieres Feb. 24 on Netflix.
