Former Avengers artist David Finch returns to Marvel Comics, providing a variant cover for Earth's Mightiest Heroes' 700th issue.

In 2003, Finch began his Marvel career, illustrating Ultimate X-Men, written by Brian Michale Bendis. He and Bendis re-rteamed in 2004 on The Avengers, followed by a run on New Avengers in 2005. In 2010, Finch signed an exclusive deal with DC Comics. There, he helped launch a number of high profile titles, including the Geoff Johns written Justice League of America and Forever Evil, Wonder Woman with his wife Meredith Finch, and the Tom King scripted Batman Rebirth-era relaunch.

This is the first work Finch has done for Marvel since he left the publisher for DC in 2010. It is not clear as of this writing whether he has further work lined up with Marvel, if he'll be remaining with DC, or if he has work lined up with another publisher..
