Tobias, you blow hard — and no, that's not a pun.

Admittedly, I'm taking some misdirected aggression out on Arrested Development's David Cross — who played the very blue, very clueless and very funny Tobias Funke on the now defunct television series — who just revealed that the long-awaited Arrested Development movie is not going to happen.

"[It's] not going to happen," he told AOL TV in a recent interview. "It's not official, but I just don't think it's going to happen."

Cross said that too much time has passed since the cult comedy series ended in 2006, leaving the show's core cast and crew members scattered in too many different directions.

"I mean, there's so many people involved. Everyone's doing their own thing, you know. And everybody's aged. It's just not going to happen. I'm sure I speak for everybody when I say we'd love for it to happen, we'd love to work on it, but just I don't think... not going to happen."

But never say never nude, as Cross thinks an eventual television reunion isn't an unrealistic idea.

"That's the way to do it," he said. "It would be great to do it on TV. Like kind of what they do in Britain. If they have a successful show, the comedy shows at least, they'll have a Christmas special. The actors and writers will all get together and you know, create a one-off kind of Christmas special thing ... so that would be a good way to do it."
