Dave Bautista's cryptic tweet about a meeting at Warner Bros. Studios has many fans guessing he is teasing a role as the popular Batman villain, Bane.Bautista posted the image to his Twitter account. While this is far from a confirmation of any sort, most the commentators on the Tweet are hopeful that the actor is hinting at a future Bane appearance. Several commentators even posted images and gifs of the character.

With James Gunn directing The Suicide Squad, it's possible Bautista's mystery character could make an appearance --and maybe that mystery character is Bane. The character could also be added to the list of villains already set to appear in Matt Reeves' The Batman.

Bane first appeared in Batman: Vengeance of Bane #1, which premiered in January 1993. The character was created by Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench, Graham Nolan and Dennis O'Neil. In addition to his strength, provided by the drug Venom, Bane is also an intelligent tactician and possesses martial art skills.

Bane was famously portrayed by Tom Hardy in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. The character also appeared in the Fox series Gotham and was played by Shane West.

Bautista is well-known for his role as Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has appeared as the character in both Guardians of the Galaxy films, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The actor will likely reprise his role in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
