Mr. Sunday Movies credits John Stratman as the creator of the video, which sees Darth Vader board the Rebels' ship, and stalk and slash his way through the unsuspecting soldiers as they attempt to escape with the plans for the Death Star. The video is reminiscent of the graphics seen in video game consoles of the early 1990s.

The same scene was similarly recreated, frame by frame, using LEGO bricks and minifigures.

Directed by Gareth Edwards from a script by Gary Whitta and Chris Weitz, "Rogue One" is set just prior to the events of 1977's "Star Wars," and follows a ragtag band of Rebels who undertake the dangerous mission to steal the design plans for the Galactic Empire's new planet-destroying superweapon, the Death Star.

In theaters now, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker.
