The Spider-Man 3's Venom symbiote returned to the distant reaches of spaces to battle Obi-Wan Kenobi in an edited parody of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith starring Darth Bully Maguire.

The YouTube video, uploaded by Matan Animation Studios, consisted of a series of edits using various voice and facial clips from Tobey Maguire's previous works. Replacing Anakin Skywalker with the popular meme of "Bully Maguire," Obi-Wan must face a new evil, although it is never specified whether the dark side or the symbiote is responsible. Regardless, the video adopts a far more humorous tone in comparison to Revenge of the Sith's original scene, with Maguire being cold and ruthless, yet also comedically silly.

The video integrates clips of the symbiote-bonded Peter Parker from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3, the basis for the meme. The dark and edgy version of Peter, with his emo-hair and his goofy approach to acting tough, spawned plenty of memes in which he is depicted as an over the top bully. However, as this only provided a limited number of clips for the video, Matan had to also incorporate other scenes of Maguire with varying haircuts and the occasional randomly appearing glasses. The inconsistency subsequently adds another layer of humor to the video.

"Darth Bully Maguire vs Obi-Wan Kenobi" begins with a voice clip from an entirely different Maguire film, being lifted from Pawn Sacrifice (2014). After Bully Maguire hits Padmé, which echoes Peter hitting Mary Jane in Spider-Man 3, the lightsaber duel commences. The Raimi Spider-Man trilogy spawned a variety of popular memes, and many of them make appearances in the video. Maguire's pained expression when stopping the train in Spider-Man 2 appears during the Force struggle between master and apprentice. Unlike Anakin, Bully Maguire does not remain as intimidating, such as when he painfully groans "My back!"

Overall, the edited fight scene is shorter than the original, but it replaces the silence with plenty of comedic lines from Maguire. Finally, the video of course contains the infamous dancing clip, a moment that was also parodied in the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film. The video ends with Obi-Wan slicing Bully Maguire in half, but unlike Anakin, who painfully burns in the lava, Maguire simply dances as his two separate halves move independently. Matan's YouTube channel has taken full advantage of the meme, with a large catalog of videos incorporating Bully Maguire into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars, among various other franchises.
