Darren Aronofsky's Epic Noah to Set Sail in March 2014

Paramount Pictures and New Regency have set March 28, 2014, for the release of Noah, director Darren Aronofsky's $100 million Biblical epic.

The film, which stars Russell Crowe, was greenlit in October. Aronofsky and Ari Handel wrote the screenplay, which was polished by Gladiator's John Logan.

“Since I was a kid, I have been moved and inspired by the story of Noah and his family’s journey,” Aronofsky said in a statement in October. “The imaginations of countless generations have sparked to this epic story of faith. It’s my hope that I can present a window into Noah’s passion and perseverance for the silver screen.”
