Dark Phoenix, which has been the subject of several delays, may be one of the shortest X-Men film to date.

According to Chinese box office tracker Gavin Feng, a file from Fox China puts the runtime of Dark Phoenix at 110 minutes. This would mean it's on the lower-end in terms of X-Men film runtimes, though certainly not in last place. IMAX lists the film at 114 minutes, which IMDb corroborates.

Regardless of if it's 110 or 114 minutes, Dark Phoenix would rank 8th in terms of runtime among all the X-Men films released since 2000. The shortest X-Men films are the original X-Men and 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand, which both had runtimes of 104 minutes. On the other end of the spectrum is 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse, which ran 144 minutes. This puts Dark Phoenix between Deadpool 2 (119 minutes) and Deadpool (108 minutes).

As this runtime is for Dark Phoenix in China, it might differ in other regions. It's also possible that this is not the final time for the Chinese release either, as reported runtimes have been known to vary.
