With the theatrical release of 20th Century Fox's X-Men sequel Dark Phoenix now just over a month away, the film's official social media accounts have released 10 brand new character posters. These posters, which evoke memories of Avengers: Endgame's "Avenge the Fallen" series, show off the likes of Cyclops, Storm, Professor X,  Beast, Magneto, Mystique, Quicksilver, Nightcrawler, Jessica Chastain's mysterious character and, of course, the Phoenix herself, Jean Grey.RELATED: Dark Phoenix: Jean Grey Disintegrates an Opponent in New Photo Moreover, each individual image carries the message, "Every hero has a dark side," save for Chastain's poster, which reads, "Every dark side has a hero."

This ominous tagline is an obvious reference to film's main conflict, which revolves around Jean's inner struggle as she is possessed by the ancient cosmic entity known as the Phoenix Force, effectively putting her at odds with the rest of the X-Men.

Additionally, previously-released promotional material for Dark Phoenix also hints that certain characters, namely Professor X, may not always be as morally sound as their compatriots would like to believe. And that Jean's newfound struggle will bring revelations regarding the X-Men's past to light.
