Now, the creative team's upcoming sequel, Dark Nights: Death Metal is set to add yet another iteration of the detective -- and it's easily the darkest and most frightening yet.Snyder provided a first look at this new version of the Dark Knight. The image features a shifting, living building that is overrun with multiple Robins. The comic series is set to be a massive event. In fact, the scope of Dark Nights: Death Metal recently got bigger, with the announcement that the series will now expand to include a guide book and anthology issues.
Dark Nights: Death Metal #1, by Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion and FCO Plascencia, was originally scheduled to go on sale May 13. However, it has since been delayed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
