Warner Bros. is set to rerelease The Dark Knight trilogy to theaters in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Fans will be able to view each film Christopher Nolan's famed trilogy in theaters on select viewing days as the two regions begin to open their theaters back up amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Hong Kong plans to begin showing the trilogy on June 4 with the first film Batman Begins (2005); The Dark Knight (2008) will release on June 11 and The Dark Knight Rises (2012) will follow suit on June 18. Taiwan will begin to release the films on May 29.

Starring Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader, the Dark Knight films showed fans the origin of the DC hero, as well as his struggles to balance living as both billionaire Bruce Wayne and the masked vigilante.

Since 2005, the trilogy has grossed $2.46 billion worldwide. Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, each film of the trilogy grossed historical rates, with Batman Begins earning $1.8 million, The Dark Knight earning $7.55 million and The Dark Knight Rises earning $10.35 million.

The Dark Knight also gave fans an Oscar-winning performance from Heath Ledger as The Joker. Although he had plans to reprise his role as the Clown Prince of Crime, his performance in the film would stand as one of Ledger's last, as he passed away shortly before the premiere.

The trilogy will be released ahead of Nolan's newest thriller film Tenet, set to release on July 17. Notably, that film stars Robert Pattinson, who'll play the next incarnation of Bruce Wayne in The Batman.

Directed and co-written by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Jayme Lawson and Peter Sarsgaard. The film arrives in theaters Oct. 1, 2021.
