THE DARK KNIGHT RISES
Heat Vision reports that director Christopher Nolan screened his rough cut of the film for Warner Bros. top executives on Friday. "Nolan has allowed himself plenty of time to fine-tune the film as he and the brass see fit," they write. The article also notes the film will be released one week after Comic-Con. While Nolan has never attended, Heat Vision suggests "in light of the latest movie's release date, speculation has already begun that this year will be different."

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
Collider spotted this video from the film's viral campaign in which Dennis Leary, as Captain Stacy, talks to The Daily Bugle about the Spider-Man menace:

The movie will get a Hollywood Premiere at the El Captain Theater on April 11th, according to MTV News. Since that theater exclusively shows Disney films, I suppose this is their way of welcoming the Marvel heroes into the family. Can't wait to see Black Bolt on the red carpet.
Russian audiences received a specially-cut trailer which consists mostly of footage from the various American trailers and commercials, with more of an emphasis on Loki than we've seen in any single piece of promotion thus far.
Directed by Joss Whedon & starring everybody, release date: May 4th, 2012
The Los Angeles Times Hero Complex reports that "Batman Live," the arena show that toured the UK last summer, will have its US premiere in September. "The scripted adventure pits Batman and Robin against the Joker, Catwoman, the Riddler, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn and the Penguin, and the settings take audiences to the high-tech confines of the Batcave, the dank depths of brutal Arkham Asylum and the Penguin's chilled and glittering Iceberg Lounge," they write.
Opens: September 5th, 2012
MTV News has a trailer for the upcoming series:

THE WALKING DEAD
As we reported here at CBR, "Treme" actress Danai Gurira has been cast at the sword-wielding Michonne. The character debuted in a brief cameo during last night's season finale. Talking with TV Line, creator Robert Kirkman said of the character, "The stories that we're going to tell with her are going to be somewhat different at times. The show has always followed the comic book to a large extent, it just has different divergences from time-to-time and we're definitely going to continue that in the third season. But the fans have expectations for Michonne, and I can say with full knowledge that their expectations are going to be met. They need not worry."
Oh, but wait, there's more. The Daily Dead (via Blastr) reports that Michael Rooker announced at WonderCon that he lost 20 lbs for his return as Merle Dixon in Season 3. Whether this is a one-episode deal or if the Rook will be a permenant fixture on the show remains to be seen.
Returns: Fall 2012
