DC is about to introduce a brand new multiverse with ties to the Flash within the major Dark Crisis crossover event.

CBR can exclusively reveal the cover art and solicit information for DC's Dark Crisis #4, which comes from writer Joshua Williamson, artists and cover artists Daniel Sampere and Alejandro Sánchez and variant cover artists Terry Dodson, Rachel Dodson, Dan Jurgens, Norm Rapmund, Nathan Szerdy, Sampere, Sánchez, Brett Booth and Johnathan Glapion. The synopsis for the issue reads, "Witness the birth of the new DC Multiverse! Spinning out of the pages of The Flash, the heroes have learned the secret of Pariah’s new worlds—but at what cost does this knowledge come, and what can they even do with this information—or even worse, perhaps Pariah and the Great Darkness want them to know…? On Earth-Zero, Deathstroke continues to move forward with his plans to erase legacy heroics once and for all, while Jon Kent, Nightwing, and the ragtag group of youngsters rally to step up to the increasing number of challenges. The event of the year rages on!"

Dark Crisis follows the events of Justice League #75, which saw Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and other Justice League members seemingly killed by Pariah and the Dark Army. The end of Dark Crisis #1 hinted and synopsis information for Worlds Without a Justice League: Wonder Woman revealed that the heroes may not actually be dead but are, instead, captured and trapped on "worlds suited to their every dream and desire" by Pariah.

With there being no Justice League to protect the planet from oncoming threats, Jon Kent has stepped up to assemble his own team of heroes. Despite being turned down by Jace Fox/Batman, Yara Flor and some others, Jon manages to convince Blue Beetles Ted Kord and Jaime Reyes, Booster Gold, Supergirl, Harley Quinn, Jackson Hyde, Damian Wayne, Killer Frost, Frankenstein and Doctor Light to fight alongside him. A major fight is quickly forthcoming, too, as Deathstroke/Slade Wilson and the Secret Society of Super-Villains emerge at Titans Tower at the end of Dark Crisis #1 with plans to kill anyone and everyone.

Dark Crisis continues this month with June 21's Dark Crisis: Young Justice #1 and The Flash #783. Dark Crisis #4 releases Sept. 6 from DC.
