"Daredevil's" Elektra Will Reflect Matt Murdock's Wild Side, Showrunner Says

Following the leak of a few low-res scans from their latest issue, Entertainment Weekly has officially released a hi-res photo of Elodie Yung's Elektra in "Daredevil" season two. Additionally, showrunner Doug Petrie weighed in on how the character stands against the show's protagonist, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox).

"She's just the best bad girlfriend you can possibly have," he explained, referring to the character's history as Daredevil's ex-lover. "She does everything wrong and attractive, she's [Matt Murdock's] id, the wild side. Matt is always taming his wild side. Elektra just lets it out. He's both repulsed and deeply drawn to that."

Starring Charlie Cox, Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll, "Daredevil" season 2 is scheduled to arrive on Netflix in 2016.
