Daredevil star Deborah Ann Woll has confirmed that she still hasn't been asked to feature in Daredevil: Born Again, a reboot of the Netflix show.

On an episode of the Inside of You podcast hosted by Michael Rosenbaum, Woll revealed that she hasn't received any calls from the makers of the Daredevil reboot. "So, as of now, I am not a part of it," the actor confirmed. Woll starred as Karen Page, Matt Murdock's secretary and love interest on the Netflix show that was canceled after three seasons. Woll shared that she would be "thrilled" to be on the show and felt like there was more for her character to explore. "They know where I am. Like I said, I love the character Karen Page. I love telling that story. But it is up to them what kind of story that they want to tell," she added. Karen Page was an integral part of all three seasons of Daredevil and played a significant role in Matt Murdock's life.

Woll also discussed Daredevil's abrupt cancellation in 2018 after a successful three-season run, saying, "The Marvel series feels unfinished to me because we got canceled when we thought we were going to have more. 'I had more to say about Karen,' and I felt I was in the middle of that story."

Daredevil Has Been Born Again

Marvel Studios' Daredevil: Born Again is confirmed to be an 18-episode series that will premiere on Disney+ in spring 2024. Charlie Cox will reprise his role as the titular character, with Vincent D'Onofrio returning as Kingpin. So far, only these two actors have been confirmed as returning cast members from the Netflix show.

In an earlier interview Cox discussed his character in the upcoming revival series, stating that he wanted more time to "really live in the characters and to spend more time in Matt Murdock's world as a lawyer." Elaborating on why he thinks focusing on Matt Murdoc'’s life as a lawyer would be interesting, he said, "You know, have all the cool Daredevil superhero stuff, but to really live in his world and to ground the show in the day-to-day life of someone who has a profession as a lawyer, could be really fun." Cox got the opportunity to play Matt Murdock in a Spider-Man: No Way Home cameo, as well as suit up as Daredevil again on the Disney+ original series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. He will also reportedly be starring as Matt Murdock in Disney+'s upcoming Echo series, which is a spinoff of Hawkeye.
