It's no secret that comic book movies and TV shows take liberties with characters' costumes, with the versions seen in live-action ranging in quality. The Daredevil series on Netflix was no exception, but former showrunner Steven S. DeKnight is ready to defend the show's interpretation of the Man Without Fear's iconic red costume. On Twitter, a user angrily insulted the show's armored version of Daredevil's suit after DeKnight announced he bought the costume when it was auctioned off along with other props from the Marvel Netflix shows and that it was at his company, DeKnight Productions.

In his complaint, the user said the costume "belongs in a dumpster fire or a Joel Schumacher film," then showed a picture of the classic Daredevil costume from the comics, arrogantly saying that this is what the Man Without Fear looks like.

In response to the rude comment, DeKnight simply told the user to "Fuck off." DeKnight's followers then applauded him for standing up to the user, showing their dedication to both the show and DeKnight.

Now available on Netflix, Season 3 of Marvel’s Daredevil stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Joanne Whalley as Sister Maggie, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter, Jay Ali as Rahul “Ray” Nadeem and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.
