A new clip from an upcoming episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law hints that Tatiana Maslany's Jen Walters knows the secret identity of Charlie Cox's Daredevil.

As reported by Collider, the clip, which was shown exclusively at D23 and not released to the public, featured Matt Murdock, in full Daredevil costume, and Jen, not in She-Hulk form, on a rooftop at night. The two discuss the differences between goons and henchmen as they strategize on how to infiltrate the building. Matt deduces that there are 25 "goons" in the building and demonstrates how he can hear people's heartbeats on Jen, saying, "I can hear yours too. Your heart's beating pretty fast."

While Matt wants to go in and take out the goons himself, Jen would rather force her way in as She-Hulk. "Because they have weapons, Jennifer," Matt tells her. "Yeah, good thing She-Hulk is indestructible, Matthew," she responds. They continue to banter back and forth before Matt leaps off the building and heads inside.

Cox has yet to appear in the ongoing Disney+ series, though he is expected to guest star in one episode. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that She-Hulk would feature a much different version of Daredevil. "He's a bit cheeky and a bit flirty, and it's just, tonally, slightly different," the actor said. Cox first appeared as the Man Without Fear on Marvel's Netflix original series, Daredevil, in which he starred for three seasons until its cancellation in 2019. Cox reprised the role for a brief cameo in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home and will return as Daredevil in She-Hulk. A new trailer for the series offered the first look at his red and yellow suit. Cox will also star in the Disney+ series, Daredevil Born Again, which will air 18 episodes on Disney+.

Daredevil's tonal shift in She-Hulk was hinted at by series creator and head writer Jessica Gao, who revealed that the show would feature the character's "lighter" side. With Daredevil's characterization in She-Hulk, Gao explained that, like the show's other MCU cameos, "we take them from the environment that you know them from, which is a much more dramatic and action-oriented role, much more on the serious side, and we bring them into our world and they get to play in the tone of She-Hulk. And they got to explore and we get to see a lighter side of that character."

She-Hulk follows Jen Walters, portrayed by Tatiana Maslany, as she "navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk," and will consist of nine, half-hour episodes. She-Hulk was announced as a Marvel Studios/Disney+ series in 2019 and was later confirmed as a half-hour legal comedy. Along with Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Tim Roth reprised his role as Emil Blonsky/Abomination from 2008's The Incredible Hulk. The cast also includes Benedict Wong as Wong, as well as Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
