With Charlie Cox declared as being the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Daredevil, artist BossLogic celebrated the announcement with some stunning fan art.The news came from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, who revealed that if and when Daredevil returns, Cox would reprise his role from Daredevil on Netflix, picking up the billy club for another round. Feige's words were, "If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen." BossLogic commemorated the news with a new work, producing a piece that calls back to one of the Netflix series' iconic lines.RELATED: If Charlie Cox Is the MCU's Daredevil, Are Marvel's Netflix Series Canon Again?

The artwork features a pair of battered hands holding up Matt Murdock's round glasses against a darkly-colored building, with flames raging in the lenses. This is a reference to Murdock's line from Daredevil's first season, during the episode "World on Fire." While speaking to Claire Temple, the lawyer-by-day, vigilante-by-night reveals that his perception of the world appears to him as "a world on fire." Matt's best friend, Foggy Nelson, would later throw the line in the hero's face after finding out about Matt's double life.

The work of art also garnered the praise of Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight, who commented the line in a quote tweet of the piece. Another actor from Dardevil, Vincent D'Onofrio, has also posted his excitement about Cox's return on social media, writing that he is "so happy for Charlie Cox" and that "he really deserves this." Of course, D'Onofrio is also rumored to return soon and appear in Hawkeye, a series currently streaming on Disney+.

As for Cox, it is currently rumored that he will appear in several upcoming MCU projects, the first being the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home, which coincidentally is the project that Feige and producer Amy Pascal were promoting when the Marvel president made the announcement. However, it was reported that Daredevil and cast members from the Netflix series would appear in the Echo show, set to spin out of Hawkeye with Alaqua Cox reprising her role as Maya Lopez. A leaked hiring sheet has also teased that a Daredevil-centric project is in the works at Marvel Studios.

Daredevil premiered on Netflix in 2015, seeing a three-season run before its cancellation in 2018. The decision led to the #SaveDaredevil campaign, comprised of fans looking to bring the show back under the Marvel Studios umbrella. All three seasons are still available to stream on Netflix, with Spider-Man: No Way Home -- the film allegedly featuring Cox's return -- swinging into theaters on Dec. 17.
