Actor Rosario Dawson shared that she would jump at the chance to return to the world of Marvel in Daredevil: Born Again.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Dawson said that she would be willing to reprise her role as Claire Temple in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series Daredevil: Born Again. The actor previously portrayed the former night shift nurse in a number of Marvel Television properties such as Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and The Defenders. Dawson feels that Claire has some unfinished business and there is plenty of room for her story to be explored.

"You don’t even see her in that last 'tell Claire to go home' moment on Luke Cage," Dawson said. "So what is that? You know it’s terrible. So, yeah, I’d be super curious, but I’m just so stoked for everybody, though."

Dawson continued on to say that Daredevil's MCU series is incredibly exciting as she's stoked for her colleagues. With Charlie Cox's Matt Murdoch/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio's Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, being brought back in a number of recent MCU shows and movies, Dawson is hopeful she will one day get the call to work on Daredevil: Born Again.

"It’s been a long time coming," Dawson said. "I was really excited to know that all of our shows are actually part of the MCU now, with Charlie [Cox] and Vincent [D’Onofrio] coming over into these different projects now. So, yeah, 18 episodes [of Daredevil: Born Again]? I’m there! Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, they know where I am."

Daredevil: Born Again will consist of 18 episodes and serve as a standalone sequel to 2015's Daredevil and a direct sequel to the upcoming Echo Disney+ series. Cox and D’Onofrio are confirmed to appear in the show as their respective characters, while Matt Corman and Chris Ord are attached to the project as its head writers and executive producers.

With production set to start on May 8, 2023, the show is scheduled for a Spring 2024 release on Disney+ as part of Phase 5 of the MCU. Daredevil will also make a cameo in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, although the exact nature of his appearance is not yet known. Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and The Defenders are also now available to stream on Disney+.
