The new logo for Marvel Studios' Daredevil: Born Again series features the Man Without Fear's classic logo from comics.Announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Daredevil: Born Again will be a new Disney+ series focusing on hero Matthew Murdock, with actor Charlie Cox returning to reprise his role as the blind lawyer/vigilante. Cox portrayed Murdock across all three seasons of the former Netflix series, Daredevil, though his red costume and the show's title never sported the iconic "DD" symbol displayed on the hero's chest in comics. Shown at Disney's D23 Expo, a new logo for Born Again shows the series' title placed in front of this classic icon.RELATED: Daredevil: Born Again Can Tell A Dark Story - Just Not A Cynical One[EMBED_TWITTER]https://twitter.com/DiscussingFilm/status/1568680065335975939[/EMBED_TWITTER]After Daredevil was canceled on Netflix in 2018, Marvel fans did not see Cox reprise his role until Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), in which he appears briefly as Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) "very good lawyer" in the film. Cox is set to return in other Marvel Cinematic Universe projects beyond Born Again though, and can be seen in a mid-season sneak peek for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The actor never got to suit up as his superhero in No Way Home, staying in his civilian secret identity, but She-Hulk will give Murdock a new horned outfit pulling inspiration from his early days in comics.Daredevil Born Again DD Logo

Daredevil Is Adding a Bit of Yellow to His Red Costume

Daredevil's She-Hulk attire features a yellow and red color scheme, which his comic counterpart embraced when he was created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett, first appearing in 1964's Daredevil #1. According to She-Hulk writer Jessica Gao, having Murdock wear the yellow and red was a must for the series. "The one thing that I didn't have control of was the suit," Gao said in an interview. "They knew exactly what they wanted the suit to look like."

The She-Hulk Daredevil costume does not feature the "DD" logo on the chest though, and whether whatever suit he wears in Born Again will remains to be seen. Prior to the new logo, the only time the original Daredevil series incorporated the "DD" was in promotional material, such as a poster promoting Season 2 of the series.
