Charlie Cox hinted that he might have a new Daredevil suit in Marvel's upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again.Cox and his co-star Vincent D'Onofrio appeared at GalaxyCon in Richmond, Virginia to talk about their respective characters, Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. During their panel, Cox warned that he's not allowed to say much but revealed he was recently trying on a new superhero outfit. "Actually I was trying on something recently, which I won't talk about," Cox said, pausing for a moment while the audience laughed.RELATED: Michael Gandolfini Speaks Out on Daredevil: Born Again Role

Cox never specifies what the new outfit is, but right afterward, he describes a cute conversation he had with his kids while wearing it. "I FaceTimed with my son and my daughter, and my son's only three, and he was watching me try this outfit on," Cox said. "And of course he was trying to figure it out, he had all these questions. And the first question was 'Daddy, can you fly?' And I felt myself not wanting to let him down, so I ended up saying, 'Well, not right now.'"

Charlie Cox Returns as Daredevil for Born Again

Between the original Daredevil series on Netflix and his guest appearance on Marvel's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Cox has worn a few different superhero outfits while portraying the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. For most of Daredevil Season 1, Murdock only wears a simple black outfit with a cloth mask that conceals his face. The season finale introduces his iconic red suit with body armor and a horned mask, which he wears through most of Season 2. Daredevil's third season puts Murdock back in his plain black outfit, while the villainous Bullseye steals the red costume and poses as Daredevil. None of these appeared in She-Hulk, where Daredevil instead wears a yellow-and-red suit based on his original costume from 1964.

Daredevil: Born Again is an upcoming reboot that's not directly connected to the original Netflix show, although Cox, D'Onofrio and Jon Bernthal of The Punisher will be reprising their roles in the new series. After the cancelation of Netflix's Daredevil, the future of the character was uncertain, as it was unclear whether the Netflix shows were canon within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Eventually Murdock was re-introduced in a Spider-Man: No Way Home cameo, followed by an episode of She-Hulk, while Wilson Fisk/Kingpin was revealed to be the main villain of Hawkeye.

Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2024 and will consist of 18 episodes.
